Why adopt me? (One direction Fanfic)

My name is Ruby Crawford I am 3 years old I live in a adoption centre in London.

"Rise and shine Ruby get dressed we have visitors coming today" said Sammy I sat up and rubbed my eyes "Who coming today" I asked "A band called One Direction are coming to sing to you and the other girls" she replied "ok" I got out of my bed and start walking towards my clothes "Hurry up ok? They arrive in ten minutes" she said as she closed the door.

I picked up my purple shirt and a pair of old jeans that I got from Jenny one of the older kids here at the orphanage I put them on and head downstairs "Careful there squirt you might trip" says Allie another one of the kids here you see I live in a orphanage in the south of London I don't know who my Mum or Dad is but here I might get a Mummy and Daddy who love me. I continue down the stairs and into the main room "Did you brush your hair?" Sammy asks "No sowwy" I said "Come here" she said and starts brushing my curly golden hair, "There all done" she says "Our special guests will be here any minute now, girls be on your best Behaviour" she says and leaves the room.

KNOCK KNOCK

"Welcome please come in the girls are excited to see you" I hear Sammy say to whoever was at the door then 5 guys come in one of them carrying a guitar "Hello girls" says the one with curly hair "I'm Liam" one said with really short hair "I'm Louis" another one said with pretty eyes "I'm Harry" said the one who spoke earlier "And I'm Niall" said the one with the guitar "And I'm Zayn" the one with pretty hair said. "We are going to play some songs for you would that be ok?" Said Liam "yeah" screamed the other girls.

Niall's PoV

Th girls here screamed very excitedly "The first song we are going to sing to you is What makes you beautiful" says Harry , we start singing and I strum my guitar all the girls get up and start dancing except for this one little girl with blonde hair in the middle. The song ends "The last song we are going to play is Best Song Ever" Liam says I start playing my guitar and we all started singing I kept my eyes on that little girl the whole time, I will find out her name before we go.

Ruby's PoV

The blonde one kept staring at me throughout the song I wonder why? "We will sign autographs and take photos for the next ten minutes" says Louis when the song finishes the other girls rush forward to get pictures and autographs and I just sat where I was playing with the carpet, there was a loud thud which meant someone sat down near me "So how comes your not excited?" Said a voice beside me "I don't understand" I reply and find my self face to face with a pair of blue eyes, I looked down kind of embarrassed "It's alright there are things we don't understand." He said I giggled "What's so funny?" he asks and starts tickling me "Your accent" I say in-between giggles.

Niall's PoV

"So it's my accent that's funny?" I question her "Yeah" she says dribble ran down her little chin I wiped it with my my thumb then wipes it on my pants "My name Ruby" she says "Pleased to meet you Ruby my name is Niall" I reply "That a pretty name" she says and looks down "Not as pretty as Ruby" I say her face suddenly turns red I chuckle "Come on Niall we have to go" Liam yells out "I have to go Ruby it was nice to meet you" I say as I stand up "Will you come see me gain?" She asks "Maybe" I say and walk off to the lads "Hey I think we should adopt one of the girls here" I say to them "Niall mate you know how much we will be in the news and how big a responsibility it is?" Liam says "I know but there is this really cute little girl" I say and point to Ruby who was playing with some blocks the boys finally give in. I make my way over to Sammy "Hi what can I help you with?" She asks "Me and the guys would like to adopt" I say Sammy looked like someone but her in the face with a frying pan "Is there anyone in mind?" She stuttered "Yeah" I reply "You an go get her and Meet me in the office" she says heads to her office I turn around and give the guys a thumbs up. I walk over to Ruby "Hi Niall" she says "Hi Ruby I want to ask you something" I say "What?" She replies "What would you think if you came to live with me?" I ask her hopefully she puts her finger on her chin "Really I could come home with you??!" She says excited "Yeah" I reply.

I take her hand and find Sammy "I found her" I say interrupting Sammy who was doing some paperwork "Ok" she says and hands me some paper with details and things to sign "If you could sign here" She says and points to the dotted line, I quickly sign it and some other things stating that I will become her legal guardian and stuff Sammy bends down in front of Ruby "Ok Ruby you be a good girl ok?" She says shakily "Ok" Ruby says "Go pack your clothes" she says Ruby lets go of my hand and runs up stairs. "Thank you" I say to Sammy "It's my job to look after these little girls" she says as a tear streams down her face "You are great" I say to her and give her a hug "I ready" Ruby says and runs in "Ok princess lets go" I say "Wait I hab to say good bye to Sammy" she says then runs over to Sammy "I wub you Sammy" Ruby says and hugs Sammy "I love you too" Sammy replies Ruby lets go and runs over to me I pick her up "Thanks again Sammy" I say. I walk us over to the lads "Guys this is Ruby" I say then Ruby buried her head into my shoulder "Are you ok princess?" I ask her "Yes da I mean Ni Ni" she said quietly aww she was going to call me daddy "Come on guys lets go" Liam says and we walk out of the orphanage.

Ruby's PoV

We walked out of the orphanage and I saw these bright flashing lights "Who is this?" "Did you adopt her" "why are you here?" People scream

I'm really scared I started crying I dug my head dealer into Ni Ni's shoulder "It's ok princess we are almost at the car" he said and rubbed my back, we got to the car I looked up from Ni Ni's shoulder "Your alright now Darlin" he says and kisses my forehead. I snuggle even closer into his neck and slowly fall asleep.

*Dream*

Me and Daddy Ni Ni where playing in a park he was waiting for me at the end of the slide, I slipped down the slide and into his arms "Do you want to go again Ruby?" He asks me "Yeah" I scream and jump up and down in his arms, the next thing I know is that I am being ripped away from a lot of bright flashes and screaming starts "Daddy" I scream out!

Niall's PoV

The others were talking about some photo shoot I felt Ruby stir then she starts screaming and crying "Daddy" she screams "Ruby, princess wake up" I say to her she quietly whimpers "Shh Darlin it's ok I'm here, it's just a nightmare" I say and rub her back. She wakes up "Ni Ni?" She says "Yes Ruby?" I reply "Where are we?" She asks "Almost home" I say and gently rub her back.

Ruby's PoV

Ni Ni says we are almost home I wonder how big it is?

The car stops "We're here" Ni Ni says, WOW it's really really big! It has a pool thing and a big puddle full of fishes!!!

And I have this really bad habit of writing big blocky sentences

I will up date as soon as I can but writing chapters is hard as I use a tablet
