Hey guys! This is Daughter-OfAres again bringing you the Valentine's Reviews!

Alright, so this month, the theme was a lot easier to go off as the whole theme was love in the YGO-Magazine. And since there's always a bit of a slump in the first two months of the year, I decided to give you two reviews! Yay! Yay! Join in everyone! Yay!

Okay so first up is a story by DDLDarkHeartofWater and Daughter-OfPoseidon; On a Valentine's Day.

Summary: The only things that Joey Wheeler and Seto Kaiba seem to have in common are their love for their siblings and their hatred of Valentine's Day. But When Joey leaves school in the middle of the day without reason, Seto can't help but worry about him. What will happen when he goes to check up on Joey at his house?

This story is a one-shot posted last year on Valentine's Day. It is a Puppyshipping (Seto Kaiba x Joey Wheeler) story based on Valentine's Day by Linkin Park.

The song-fic takes place on Valentine's Day with both Joey and Seto acting a bit out of character. They don't argue, even when paired up for a project during science.

Mainly because, for once, Joey isn't taking the bait that Seto throws at him. During the day, when Joey abruptly leaves school, Seto grows increasingly worried for him, despite his attempts to deny it.

When tasked with bringing the notes Joey missed to his house, Seto does so without complaint and stumbles into, yes, a case of abuse. I know that this story sounds quite cliché, and it is. But I believe that it deserves a spot in this article because of the good writing style, and come on.

Who doesn't love reading cliché Puppyshipping on Valentine's Day?

Summary: Yami Sennen - a seventeen year old student at Domino Boarding School - meets Yugi Mutou on her first day and her feelings for the other girl begin to grow. But then things go terribly wrong. Will Ryou Bakura be able to reach the fragile remains of her heart before she throws them into the trash?

Taken From Me follows Yami Sennen as she – yes, she – begins at Domino Boarding School. She crashes into Yugi Mutou, who is given the task of showing her around and Yami is later paired with Yugi for a history project.

There is a sense of inevitable doom to the story as, in the prologue, it is made clear very quickly that someone dies. It isn't updated a lot and the chapters are quite short, but it's a very interesting book.

It is also one of the few books I have seen that does a full gender switch with every character meant to be a boy as a girl and vice versa.

It also has realistic relationships – friendships, romances, roommates, etc – with problems and fear and cute dates that weren't planned, and a variety of shippings including Puzzleshipping, Fragileshipping, Antagoshipping and Bronzeshipping. I highly recommend it to any fan of the above pairings.

Whelp, that's all for this month. I hope you all had an utterly fantabulous Valentine's Day writing or reading about your OTPs, or going on a date with your significant other (this can include your cat) if you're one of the lucky ones.

Please join in next month for the next Reviews With Evelyn section! I'm going to need a lot of luck because the next theme is crossovers. If any of you have read any good Yu-Gi-Oh crossovers with other fandoms, PLEASE send me the name and link, either by private messaging or comments.

Hope you enjoyed! If you have trouble finding these stories, they're in my 'Reviews With Evelyn' reading list!
