Ariana's P.O.V.

Ugh! Why did the cottage have to be so far from the inn?

I was making my way through the town, running for home, all while it is pouring down rain. I should have brought Domi, I'm sure Seth would've let me put him in the pasture during the day, that way I wouldn't have to walk home. That's a great idea! I smile, thinking of my wonderful Domino, or Domi , for short. He was my beautiful Gypsy Vanner stallion, 16.5 hands high, and as sweet as a cherry. I loved my Domi to death! Just thinking about him always puts me into a good mood.

 Though as soon as my good mood appeared, it disappeared again, thanks to the yelling I heard while walking up the drive. Of course, the yelling could only belong to two people- Jace and Madame Gazelle. What they were yelling about, I had no idea, but I had a feeling that I would soon be apart of the fight.

I walked in the door and immediately ran over to Jace, who had his finger pointed at his mother, while muttering a numerous amount of unpleasant words.

"Jace" I was now holding his hands to his side "Jace!" He still wasn't registering that I was there "JACE!" I yelled slapping him slightly on the cheek.

"Ow! Ari! What was that for?" Now he notices

I sigh "Jacie, you need to calm down, no, look at me! Calm down Jace." I take his hand and pull him upstairs to his room. As soon as we are through the door I shut it and engulf Jace in a hug. He is surprised by my sudden moves, but as soon as he realizes what I am doing, he wraps his arms around me and puts his head onto my shoulder. Breathing slowly, in and out, letting his warm breath tickle my back slightly. I smiled. That's my Jace, he's back now. We always do this to calm each other down if we get too upset. I don't know how it got started, but it's worked every time, ever since I could remember.

We pull out of each other's arms and smile.

"Thanks Ari- Bear. I needed that." He then decides he's had enough of our little sappy moment and rubs my head, while messing my hair up. I flinch back.

"Arg! Jace why must you always do that?" I ask

He smirkes, and then starts laughing at me. And I don't mean a little haha laugh I mean and big HAHA laugh where your laughing so hard your rolling on the floor, clutching yours sides because they hurt so much!

"I give up!" I stomp out of his room and continue stomping all the way to my room. Leaving a hysterical Jace rolling on the floor and cryinghis eyes out.

I sigh and then smile, it's amazing how he can change moods so quickly. He went form raging mad, to sappy, to luny in the lapse of five minutes!

Oh well. I try to forget about Jace, while cleaning up around my room. It sure gets messy, if you spend most of your time picking up other people's rooms.

I pick up all of my clothes on the floor, and put my books onto their proper shelves, now satisfied with my work. I looked around my room, thinking how lucky I was to be able to get this room, instead of Jace's horribly normal room.

My room, was a tower. As in a real tower! I had to literally walk up a flight of spiral stairs to reach my room. I loved how my room was so unique! It was oval-ish shaped and had a few windows in the roof to let the natural light in. But the thing I loved most about my room, was the secret hideaway I had. I had discovered it, when I first moved in. I was mad at Jace for making a stupid joke, so I ran up to my room and was looking around for a hiding place, when I pressed against a piece of brick by my hanging mirror, and a pathway appeared! Being me, I of course went down that pathway to discover my own secret room. While exploring that room I found another pathway that lead back to my room opening with a small door behind a table in the corner. From then on, when I'm upset I always go to my secret room and read a book or two. I had alot more books in my "other" room, than I did in my real room. Thankfully.

Walking into my "other" room, I quickly shut the passage way in case someone came upstairs looking for me. I didn't want anyone to find my special room. Not even Jace. Sometimes I just have to be alone and think. That's exactly what I was going in for. I needed to think. About what, I have no idea, but I'm sure I'll find something.

Also I want to know who you guys think Ariana will in the end, fall in love with. xD

And sorry my chapters are so short, I promise you they look alot longer! I will try to make them longer as we go, or combiine chapters.
