Where I'm From (Parody)

I am from birds singing

From dogs barking

I am from the warmth

And a smoky atmosphere

I am from brown hair and blue eyes

From many laughs and tears shed

Through pain and suffering

With too many occasions in black

I am from the muscular and strong

From books closing shut

To falling over from time to time

I’m from stubborn bulls

I’m from rainy days

And cloudy skies

From mountain tops

To water so black

I’m from fragile china

From weakened lungs

Fights never ending

And silent tears cried

From leaves changing

To loves fading

And days of growing

But remember this

I am from freedom
