Chapter 1

- I woke up and yawned as I fluttered my eyes open, the sun rising.

I lazily got up from my bed and checked my phone, smiling as I saw the date it was today.

Finally, the last day of school. I have been waiting forever for this day to come.

" Emily, I hope you're awake because if you're not ready in twenty minutes, you're walking to school." My brother said from the other side of my bedroom door.

" I am awake, now leave me be." I yelled and walked into my bathroom.

" Wow my hair is a mess." I thought to myself as I looked at myself through the mirror and have seen that my hair is all tangled.

I brushed it out and put on my shower cap since I didn't want my hair to get what only because I had straightened it the night before.

I slipped off my clothes and stepped into the shower, getting out five minutes later.

After I had dried myself, I went inside my bedroom and decided what I would wear. I chose to wear plain white tank top and over it, my sky blue crew neck with the mtv symbol on it and my skinny jeans, along with my black toms.

" Emily can you be any slower?" Andrew asked as he walked into my bedroom.

" No and will you get out, I don't want you in here." I said as I walked into my bathroom and started braiding my hair into a fishtail.

" Nah, I am good. So you excited that its the last day and in three days, you go to summer camp?" He asked.

" Well you can say that but oh well." I shrugged and walked back into my bedroom after I finished.

" Ready?" I nodded and grabbed my phone, slipping it into my back pocket.

" Goodmorning mum." I smiled at her as we reached downstairs.

" Hey hon." She smiled and handed me my plate with eggs, pancakes, and bacon.

" I'm just letting you two know, I won't be home until midnight and your father has gone on a business trip. Emily he left you a hundred to go shopping for what you need for summer camp and Andrew, he left you nothing because go check out in front." She sighed and rolled her eyes as Andrew smiled widely.

I stood up from the chair and followed Andrew outside to the front yard and gasped as I saw a range rover parked out.

" I love you guys!" He screamed and hugged our mom tightly.

" Okay let go. Now, Emily I know you probably will start getting jealous because he got such a huge gift so I will take you to buy anything huge you want tomorrow so don'g worry. Now go to school before you're late!" Mum hurried us into Andrew's new car and waved goodbye.

" Lucky bastard." I muttered and glared at Andrew.

" Oh shut it, you'll get your present tomorrow. Besides, it isn't my problem you haven't wanted to go get a driving test.

- Last Period at School -

" Emily, I am going to miss you so much." Kimberly cried as I hugged her.

" Oh come on Kim, do not cry just because I am leaving for most of the summer. " I begged as I wiped away her tears.

" You're my bestfriend you nincompoop, how can I not miss you!?" She yelled, raising her arms in the air.

" Oh god. I promise i'll try and talk to you every day but please stop crying before I do." I giggled and hugged her again.

" Oh okay." She sighed.

" Anyways, you're leaving to Australia for most of the summer as well so I don't know why you're crying." I laughed.

" Yeah but that doesn't mean I want to go. I never knew that I had a semi famous cousin. Kimberly Irwin ha. I thought it was a ridiculous name until I heard about Ashton." She laughed.

" So you're british and australian ? Woah." I smiled and played with my hair.

" Yeah but I don't really care." She shrugged.

" I can tell. When do you even ca-" I had gotten interrupted by the school bell ringing, signaling that school has officially ended.

" Oh god, Emily I love you so, so much. You better keep that promise and since my flight is an hour, I can't call you to say goodbye so I guess this is it." Kimberly smiled, obviously trying to hold in the tears.

" Oh no, lets just cry it out." I broke into tears and hugged her tightly. " I'm going to miss you so much ugh. I will keep the promise no matter what, okay. Now go tiger, you don't want to be late." I smiled as we pulled apart.

She smiled and left the building.

Well that was an emotional movie scene. I'll never do that again.

" Emily we have to get home, I have no time for you crying here!" Andrew yelled as he entered the building and picked me up, making me throw a fit.

" Andrew piss off! I hate you so much." I yelled at him once we entered the car.

He stuck his tongue out at me and I flipped him off.
