Chapter 4

As I walked into the office, I spotted Jasmine who was saying hi to all the new campers and giving them chocolate bars. That's weird.

" Hey Jasmine so what do I have to do as an assistant counselor?" I asked her as she sat down next to me.

" Oh you have to walk around the whole camp to make sure everything is okay, lockdown the arena and rooms, and make sure everyone is in bed before 12." She smiled and handed me a set of keys along with a paper of codes.

I told you this school is high tech and is careful with security.

" So thats all and I teach soccer and have time for basketball?" I asked just to make sure.

" Yes now go with your roommate to the arena and start taking the food to the arena." Jasmine smiled and walked away.

" Hailey!" I screamed once I entered our cabin.

" Room!" She screamed and I ran inside the bedroom to find her laying down on her stomach.

" Someone seems bored." I chuckled and sat on her.

Yes, sat on her.

" There is nothing to do." She groaned and pushed me off of her.

" Well you and I have to take all the food to the arena. We are having our annual campfire and we're all scattered around the arena. It's super fun." I smiled at her and practically dragged her out of bed.

" Yay something to do." She laughed as she slipped on her shoes.

" Okay so where is the kitchen?" She asked completely dumb founded.

" Have you seem the huge like dome next to the arena? That is the cafeteria for the campers who don't have the kitchen in their dorm so the kitchen is there. Now lets go.

// after they finish and are getting ready to go to the camp fire //

" So Emily remember how you asked when you could meet my brother?" Hailey smiled as I changed into my high waisted shorts and pink hoodie.

I nodded and slipped on my Uggs.

" Well we are going to meet up with him and his band over at the camp fire.We decided to go all the way to the top of the arena and set up a tent and brought a guitar so he could sing." She smiled and sat down on her bed.

" That's amazeballs," I laughed. " By the way, for the first 20 minutes I have to be on stage so you have to text me the section you guys are in." I told her as I stood up and put on my pass.

" Oh so i'll see you in a bit because am going to call my mum and then go." She smiled as I left the room and the cabin.

Honestly, I can't wait to meet her brother because at least we'll have someone else in our group and all.

As I walked into the arena, I saw that it was all completely full. People scattered all around and just like Hailey told me, I spotted the group all the way at the top away from everyone.

I couldn't even see their faces from over here, but oh well.

" Emily!" Jasmine screamed from the stage.

I ran over to the stage and got on, hugging Jasmine.

She gestured me to introduce myself in the mic.

" Hows everyone doing tonight?" I said into the mic, receiving cheers from everyone.

" Am glad you're all having a great time. I am your assistant counselor this year, Emily Dawson and trust me this summer is going to be the best damn summer you have ever had!" I yelled into the mic and raised my hands in the air with excitement.

" Now lets get this started!" yelling into the mic and hopping off the stage.

I felt like doing a backflip and yelling. I am so random, and well the excitment got to me.

I walked around the arena until I found the stairs and started going to Section 314 which is where Haile, her brother and her brothers band are right now.

It's the last level and am pretty knackered from all these stairs.

" Hailey?!" I yelled as I reached the sections around 300.

" Emily come on!" She appeared and dragged me the rest of the way.

" Well someone is excited for me to meet someone." I giggled as we made our way to our spot.

" About time you guys got here." A voice said as we sat down.

" Emily I would like you to meet my brother Brad. Brad meet Emily." Hailey smiled.

B-Brad...

" Hey it's nice to meet you love. I'm the dork of he- " He stood up to hug me and once he saw me, he smiled and we linked eyes.

" H-Hailey. Brad and I already met." I blushed and put my hands in my pocket.

" You did?" She asked in shock.

" Yeah on the plane. He was a seat away from me." I laughed.

" What a coincidence then." She laughed.

" Do I still get my hug?" Brad smirked.

I nodded and hugged him but as soon as I did, some sort of feeling rushed through me, making me jump slightly.

" Bradley, dude are you going to introduce us or make us seem like total weirdos?" one of his bandmates asked, making me giggle.

" Em, this is Tristan, Connor, and James." Brad said as he pointed out each of them.

" Hello love." They all smiled and hugged me.

" Wow Emily, they like you more than my best friend back home. Especially Brad, he seems to have a liking in you." Hailey whispered the last part and winked.

" Well then, lets get this summer started, shall we!" Brad yelled out, all of us cheering.
