Silent Murder

The next few weeks went by slowly and boring. One night on February 18 Sterling came back along with the last sin, Atlas the sin of envy. I had actually liked her before I was condemned and actually trained her myself before the order of seven came to be. She was always kind and fought for what was right and actually cried when I had to leave. Now she stood in front of me again as I stepped through my back door "Well then the final sin shows her face." I say while materializing my blade in front of me which let off a red aura. I got no response from her as Sterling spoke up "I'm going to kill you for what you did. " he said grimly while drawing his pistols "Stay back Atlas this is my fight. "
"Don't get yourself killed, remember Sterling he's the second most powerful sin of all of us." Atlas replied while backing away and taking a seat under a tree. Sterling just ignores her and began firing a barrage of attacks from his guns and all of which were dodged. I teleported behind him and swung my blade downward, slicing him in two. "Dumb ass." I heard Atlas say from her perch under the tree. She then stood up and drew her giant hammer made of centurion gold and slammed it to the ground in front of her, leaving a small crater. "I'm going to end this quick, it's too troublesome to take you on alone at this level of power so I will start in my released state. " she said as the air grew heavy. She then took on the form of a goddess with her olive skin being enveloped in a white cloak and her tail out to the side and hammer still in front of her. "Let's begin"
"Your release isn't complete, yet you still challenge him? That's foolish Atlas, you must go train for years in order to even scratch him with that pathetic thing. " I heard Helios voice say and Atlas whipped around and swung her giant hammer at him but only missing for him to appear behind her and sling her to the ground "We won't kill you unless we have to, we are giving you a chance Atlas take it." he looked down at her and said "Never, I've always had to look at your back now you can die at my hand in front of Vulcan and he will be proud of me."
"It will be better if you just join us, but since you are so determined to kill me then I guess I can't hold back. Too bad I felt like saving this for him but I guess you'll do." with that Helios was surrounded by his own chains with a black aura leaking through the cracks and after about thirty seconds the chains shattered, revealing an Helios with horns, wings, and a tail. His release also featured olive skin and dark black emo/goth hair and black caverns for eyes with acid green circles in the center. "Just witnessing my releases power is crushing your body, leave now or die here. I don't care which. " he said grimly while the chains came back together but this time looking like serpents with glowing green eyes like Helios's. Atlas was shaking terribly while watching Helios become a monster made only for destruction. I had simply walked back inside and began releasing energy to repair the landscape.
Helios POV
I could sense that Atlas was regretting her decision and considering joining us. "Just give up, there's no way in hell you'll beat me." I said while she stood up and stopped her release "I-I will join you. " she stammered barely getting the words out. "Good, now get some rest and meet us here tomorrow at this exact same time. " I said while stopping my release and going back inside, She just left without a word and I went to bed.
Another short chapter and Sterling is dead, wow a lot happened (not really) 😒 I am disappointed in myself for these short chapters just....
Finals. I'll make a sequel I guess I no longer feel like writing this
