We all get attached to people we meet or live with. It's a normal thing and it happens with everyone single person.
People also get attached to people they have never met before, TV characters maybe. Or someone whom we've only talked to. And top it all, we get attached to things. Mere non-living objects that neither speak nor breathe.
The weird part is that, sometimes, we get attached to places. Feeling close to people or objects or beauty or atmosphere of a particular place is fine but feeling close to a place does sound a bit abnormal.
It's not an everyday event that happens with all. But it does happen to me and I? I'm overwhelmed. I give my soul to places I've never been before.
It's like an arranged marriage. You do not properly know the person at the beginning of your marriage life but when you're old, you notice and feel how that person has left a deep, permanent mark on you. You just go to a place to see how it feels to be there and then boom! You've given your heart and hearth to an enclosed area that has been given a name.
That is, my friend, called magic. It is bizarre how a place can have a mystical effect on your mind and leave an unalterable impression in your heart.
And this can only happen to those who actually love to see places, love to travel and love to explore.
This connect has happened with me thrice, which makes me realise my love for travelling.
I don't know, perhaps I don't want to know the reason behind all the attractive and positive vibes that these places offer.
This is my passion and I'm gonna try my level best to keep following it.
