Chapter 4

Dick sat down on the couch with Zatanna. This was the first time they had both been alone. "So did you have a good kidnapping?" he asked smiling.

Zatanna turned and smiled back "I'd say it was the best one ever. Then again..." Dick's heart stopped in fear. She smirked "I'll probably have to be kidnapped a few more times to find out if it can be any better."

"Well..." Dick leaned a little closer "That depends... How can we make it better?"

She leaned in a little as well "I can think of a few ways..." all of a sudden their lips met in swift moment. Dick reached up and cupped her cheek in his hand. Zatanna wrapped one hand around his neck and the other around his waist. They stayed like this until they were practically gasping for air. Even then after they both had gotten a sufficient breath they just went right back at it.

Unbeknownst to them the team was smiling from just behind the corner.
