Chapter 2

Dick leaned forward in his chair of the bioship. This was his chance to finally talk to Zatanna! "So I'm trying to be all nonchalant here but..."

Zatanna smiled she wondered if he liked to play with words? "Oh I don't mind!" she said cheerfully "Be as 'chalant as you like!"

Dick's stomach fluttered. She liked to play with words too?! If it was possible in that moment she had just become twice as beautiful. He was speechless afraid to ruin the moment. "Um... well... uh... what I was trying to say... was... uh..." he started stuttering.

"Somebody help him!" Wally yelled in the mind link.

Zatanna was nervous Robin had started stuttering did that mean that he thought playing with words was weird? Or did he like and just not know how to say it?

Artemis stepped up to the rescue "What Robin was trying to ask was what exactly are the extents of your powers? Cuz what you did at the prison back there was pretty amazing!"

Zatanna blushed "Well if you're asking if I can bring world peace or anything than that's a no. Even my dad couldn't do that and I'm nowhere near his level! Besides..." he looked down at her feet. "All I did was a simple truth spell. It wasn't that amazing..."

"I thought it was!" Robin cut in before he even realized what he was doing. "I mean you got us information that even Batman hadn't found out yet. If that's not amazing I don't know what is!" Robin blushed a little when he realized everyone else was staring at him.

Zatanna blushed at the complement "Th-Thanks Robin." she stuttered.

The rest of the team kept looking back and forth between them as the two just turned away from each other in embarrassment. Wally had to resist the urge to scream in frustration. "Looks like this is going to be harder then we first expected..." Kaldur added to the mind link unhelpfully.
