It had been a few hours after finding and naming spike and he was a very good pet. I was starting to get hungry as it was close to dinner. "Daaaad! I'm hungry!" I heard Mikey complaining followed by Donnie and Leo's voices also pleading for food. I looked down at spike and realized I didn't know what a turtle ate. "Sensei! What does a turtle like spike eat?" I asked following Sensei into the kitchen. "Well little one I would say lettuce. Let me see ah here is some." Sensei said holding out a weird green leaf. "It doesn't look tasty." I stated. "But spike will like it." He said handing me the leaf and going back to making dinner. I picked up spike and the leaf and sat on the floor out of the way. "Do you like whatever this let us thingy is spike?" I asked and he nodded his head. "Alright eat up." I said holding the leaf out. Spike tentatively tuck his head out and took a big bite. "Dad he likes it he likes it!" I exclaimed as spike continued to eat.
