It was the summer of 2013 when 15 year old Reed Dausin decided to paint her hair. At first, her mother didn't agree, but what other choice was she given? Reed was only focused on changing her appearance, regardless of what her mother and other people might say of her.

"I want pink hair." Blurred out excitedly the young girl to her mother.

"Why pink? Don't you think it's too much of a bright color?" Asked her mother, with a bit of reluctance in her tone.

"That's the point." She replied.

She couldn't help but let out an ear to ear grin. After three hours, her hair was dyed completely pink. Reed had chosen to portray herself differently. Mostly because she wanted to be a new person with a new look. She learned to express her emotions through her style.

Her attitude towards what other people might think, heck, even what her mother might think, was completely careless. She just wanted to be a free flowing, like a little tall grass of reed.
