Picture of Tatum's outfit.

"Get your fat arse to school!" My sister shouted at me from downstairs. As you can see from her foul language toward me, we don't get along very well. Ever since my mum and dad died three years ago and she had to become my legal guardian we haven't gotten along and she hates my guts because she blames me for their death, but I don't blame her. Ashby is twenty four, seven years older than me, my parents had her when they were quite young and had me at a respectable age. I always got along with my sister growing up, but after our parents died she become cold towards me, she puts me down any chance she can, she truly doesn't care for me anymore.
I changed into a violet pair of of skinnies, a white tank tank, and a navy blue cotten cardigan, a golden necklace that had two pendants of it brought out the tank top I had on. I made my makeup simple, only using a couple swipes of mascara to make my unique pale aqua eyes pop and some pomegranate lip balm that I always used, my thick midnight black hair was straightened down to my waist. My black hair was the total opposite from my sister's blond locks, her eyes were a baby blue and her tall slender five foot ten body was the total opposite of my five foot one body, I wasn't graced with her big bust or her curves, I have small soft curves and a tiny waist, my chest area isn't that big but it suits my size.
"Hurry the hell up!" My sister started yelling profanities up to me, so I hurriedly put on my tan suede sandles and grabbed my tan satchel.
Ashby slammed on the brakes when she got to my new school, she would normally never take me to school, but we just moved to America and I'm starting at Leighton High School today and she has to come inside and sign some forms for me. As we stepped out of her little Honda and started heading towards the school's double front doors people were staring at us, I don't know if they were staring at me or my sister? They were probably staring at Ashby, she was like a living barbie with her bouncy blond curls and her hot pink sweater and a gray sparkly skirt, she was always a head turner.
When we found the office, my sister told the kind desk lady to show me to my classes right away because she didn't want me to miss any of my classes just because she's signing some papers, but she really just wanted to get rid of me for the day, actually she'd be happy if the school would keep me forever so she'd never have to see me again. "Follow me dear." I did as told and followed the office lady down the hallways, we went through so many twists and turns I figured I would get lost in this school. My old school was built into section, primary school, junior years, and college, but this school had all of the grades built into one whole giant building.
After one more turn we ended up infront of my first period English class. As Mrs. Clemson, the office lady briefly knocked on the classroom door before opening it every pair of eyes landed on her and then went straight to me, I hid slightly behind the woman and waited for her and the teacher to get done talking. "Well Tatum, I'll be in the office if you need anything. I hope you like Leighton High." A curt nod and she was gone on her way back to the office.
My teacher, Mrs. Rawson was a merrily large woman in her early fifties, she has light brown hair, tiny eyes that crinkle in the corners, she was almost as short as me, but maybe two or three inches taller. "Hello Tatum, why don't you introduce yourself to the class?" I walked to the middle of the room and nervously swallowed, my throat suddenly felt dry and my palms started to sweat.
"My name is Tatum Knight, I'm from the UK, and this is my first time coming to America." I wasn't sure what Mrs. Rawson wanted me to say so I kept my introduction simple and short. I don't want to elaborate about my life with these people, I don't plan on getting close to anyone here, so I don't see the point in trying to make a good first impression.
"Does anyone have any questions for Tatum?" I mentally sighed and hoped that no one would raise their hands and ask me questions that I didn't want to answer. "Josh." She pointed to a boy in a Letterman jacket, I could tell he was a jock just by seeing his muscles and by the way he sits with other guys who are wearing the same jacket as him.
"Is your accent real?" I wanted to laugh in his face and called him something mean, but I didn't want to get caught up in some teen guy's high school drama.
"Yes, it's one hundred percent real." This Josh character turned to the guy next to him and whispered something to him, that made him start to laugh and nod his head in agreement.
"Wanna go out sometime?" I accidentally let a laugh escape me, but quickly recovered with a fake coughing sound. I can't believe the decency of this guy to ask me out when we just met and infront of the entire classroom and even the teacher.
"I don't think so, sorry." I didn't care if I was hurting his ego with rejecting him, but he gave me the creeps and I didn't need a guy like him trying to get with me in any way that he thought he could. Josh glared at me and sent me a look that ment this isn't over I turned away from him and looked at the teacher, waiting to see if she needed anything else.
"You can sit by Damian. Damian raise your hand." I was met with a pair of deep brown eyes from the back of the class. This Damian guy was one of the most gorgeous men I had ever seen, his sandy blond hair and brown eyes gave him a boy next door look girls find attractive. His muscles were on show with his tight navy blue t-shirt, his dark wash jeans showed off his muscular legs and I could tell he was tall from the way he had to situate his legs to be somewhat comfortable.
Damian was smirking at me for some unknown reason, but I kept my face blank and sat down in the empty seat next to him. I figured this wouldn't be my last time seeing Damian, I felt as if I was going to be involved with him somehow.
