When me and the girls woke up one Saturday, we decided to go on a shopping trip. My reason was to get new clothes and maybe some accessories for my collection, but the rest of the girls, and Aunt D, insisted that is was to get cute clothes for the quest to find Asa. I didn’t mind them though. After hitting the regular shops like Urban Outfitters and Top Shop, we decided to go into some vintage stores. At one of them, I found this cute dress that was maroon with a black trim. It had a bow but it wasn’t twelve year oldish.

Gina saw me eyeing the dress and said, “You should try it on, it’s totally your style.”

Carls heard what Gina said and turned, then squealed. “Ah Zoe! It’s adorable! You’ll look so cute, try it on now!” Carls said pushing me toward a dressing room. I put on the dress, which thankfully actually fit, sloping neckline made my neck look longer, the dress was strapless which accentuated my shoulders, which I guess were nice, but overall the dress made me look better. I shyly exited the dressing room, waiting for everyone’s verdict.

“So how do I look?” I asked twirling.

“Zoe, you look amazing.” Nikki said.

“Beautiful.” Gina whispered.

“Girl you look fine!” Carls said, making everyone laugh.

“No really Zoe, you look stunning. I can’t believe that tomorrow we’re going out to find a boy that might like Zoe!” Aunt Diana said. Wow. This is interesting. Most people get this reaction on their first date. I get it on my first stalk session. Show’s you I’m going to die alone.

“Yeah, maybe we should keep this for the first date. I don’t want to make him drool in public.” I said joking.

Everyone nodded there heads agreeing with me as if I was being serious. No! I’m joking! A joke! Get it? They didn’t get it.

We ended up buying the dress agreeing to save it for later, and I did get some wicked shoes that Gina made me promise to wear tomorrow. They were vintage high platform creeper shoes with a navy blue base flower print. It was a charming cute, and added much need height to my small stature. Nikki and Gina also found some cute shoes, while Carls found this dress that was so cute it almost made me cry. Aunt Diana found some scarves, we tried to show her some outfits, but she said the dress apparel for work kept her on a tight lease. We are going to get her a cute outfit. I thought to myself, making it a vow.

As we dropped off the girls, Aunt Diana started talking about dinner plans, but I got bored so I let my mind wander. While wandering it thought about the Asa kid, and my mind stuck on that idea. I started wondering What if he likes me? What happens then? All sorts of stuff, what would it be like to actually be kissed? Being as forever alone as I was, I had a boyfriend before, but we never got to the point of kissing. I just wasn’t on boy’s radar. Asa’s lips seemed nice enough. I wonder what they feel like.

“Zoe, Zoe? Are you listening?” Aunt Diana asked getting my attention.

“Hm, um what?” I said turning to face her.

“Chicken and rice or Curry? Your choice.”

“Hmm, chicken. Definitely the chicken.” I answered.

“Okay, so we won’t need to go the market.”

Me and Aunt Diana went into the flat, started dinner, then had an early bedtime.

“Rise and shine sweetheart!” Aunt Diana yelled into my ear. I woke up startled. I tried to move then I realized my aunt was lying on top of me.
