chapter 3

Marshall's Pov

Fionna lifted up her head and our faces were only inches apart until I felt someone tap me on the back. I turned around to see gumball who wanted to dance with her. I was about to say no until I noticed three figures laughing outside the castle window. I kissed fionna on the head and gave her to gumball. I didn't like that sad look on her face but I told her id be right back. I walked outside and looked around but found know one. When I turned around to go back inside I heard someone clear the throat. I turned back around and looked town to see a millie the demon smiling up at me. "hello Marshall lee I see you look radiant tonight" she said "cut to the chase why are you here?" "oh come on Marshall you've gone soft for that human bunny girl" I turned around to see my old friend John, he transform from a unicorn into looking like a human and he had a paper in his hand "no I haven't and why are you guys here?!!" "were here because.." suddenly I heard somebody cut John off "cause we got another love letter from Ashley again with a red rose" the figure walked into the light and I saw it was Grace the vampire, my oldest friend "Grace? oh god how long has it been since I saw you?" "were not here to chat Marshall were here to give you the stupid letter" Grace handed me the letter "now thanks for stopping by but you need to go right now!!!" I said yelling "fine come on Millie and John let's go, Marshall here wants to have his pretty special time with his bunny over there". When they left I opened the letter from Ashley and once again she sprayed it with that gross perfume she has. I grabbed a small lighter from my pocket and caught the note on fire then tossed it into the pond where know one would ever find it but I kept the red rose and drank the red out of it and I thought about giving the white rose to Fionna so I walked back into the palace to get her.

Fionna's Pov

Gumball and me danced for what seemed like forever and I couldn't stand it. He just kept staring at me like some creeper like he was planning something. I then saw Marshall walk back in and wave towards me. I told gumball I was leaving and he looked sad and angry at the same time but he let me do as I wished. I walked over to Marshall and he gave me a rose "this is for you" "oh thank you Marshall" I said as I put the flower in my hair, then we both walked outside the castle and into the streets. We began walking down the candy streets just talking and laughing all the way to my house. When I opened the door I smelt something burning. Me and Marshall rushed in and noticed that my living room was on fire! I had forgotten to put the fire out before I left to go to the ball! Marshall flew to the kitchen and came back with a bucket of water throwing it on the flames watching them die out. I began to cry into my hands feeling foolish and stupid. Marshall floated over to me and embraced me in his arms. " it will be ok bunny you can stay with me till we fix up your house. How's that sound?" Marshall spoke in a soothing tone. I nodded my head in agreement and went upstairs to fetch some clothes. When I was finished packing I switched out of my dress and into a blue tank top, a long sea blue skirt, my necklace and my bunny headband. I walked back downstairs where Marshall was waiting for me. "you ready to go?" he asked with a smile. I nodded and walked with him outside were he picked me up and we began to float to his house.

Marshall pov.

When we got to my house I opened the doors and flicked on the light switch but no lights came on. I tried it again and again but it didn't work so I went outside to check the fuse box. When I got to the breaker box and I looked at the wires outside of it and noticed that had chew marks on them. I noticed those chew bite any were. And I just remember I forgot to feed my pet bat blood before I left I got the wires and plugged them back into the wall. It would take about an hour or so for the lights to turn back on. When I got inside I saw fionna begin to light some candles. "so what's wrong with the power?" she said looking curious. I told her had my pet bat nibbled on the electrical cords and the power will be on until about an hour or so. She nodded understanding and yawned. I picked her up and sat her in my lap were she snuggled up to my shirt and began to doze. I floated over to the couch and pulled the blanket off of it and wrapped it around us. I began to fall asleep along with my little bunny who was in my arms having peaceful dreams

Flame prince pov

I was sleeping in bed looking up at the ceiling not being able to sleep. The girl I told fionna I was in love was Brianna, who was sleeping beside me. I feel bad for running around on her with Brianna and not telling her. I guess that would of made the break up easier. I don't know why but I cant get fionna out of my head. Her smile, the way her hair flows in the wind , the way her eyes sparkle. I'm beginning to have regrets with hurting her, I think I'm still in love with fionna!
