Integrity

(Kate POV)

The Rift was was very strange. Within it, was nothing but blackness and strange code. Not that I could really make sense of it all. I was too busy DODGING those codes. They would come out of nowhere, traveling faster than I could measure. It was taking a while to get through, but I was patient. Luckily we eventually got to the end, however I was not ready for the sight to befall me, and I don't think Frisk and Kalani were either.

~Outertale~ (Third Person)

Expecting to be on solid ground, the trio began to freak out when they realized they were floating in space. "WHAT THE ACTUAL F-" Kalani got slapped by Frisk. "Chill Kalani. Look over there. It's solid ground. Plus, we can breath can't we?" She stopped freaking out, noticing a large, flat area of ground. "Y-Yeah.. You're right. Let's get over there then!" Kalani kicked her way over to the ground, where a slight gravitational force kept her there. Frisk and Kate followed suite.

(Frisk POV)

This was definitely not what I had in mind. No wonder I couldn't tell where we would end up from the Rift! Ugh. I got this. I know I do. "So we just need to find the human, and get out of here right? Shouldn't be too hard!" Kate laughed, trying to lighten the mood. Kalani seemed to appreciate the attempt. "Well let's go then." I said. We began to walk down the star-speckled path.

It was lovely. The stars twinkled as we walked along, Kalani and Kate were finding new constellations; or at least HOPED they were new, as we continued on. There were familiar and non-familiar things we saw, but there was no doubt that this was this world's version of Waterfall. I'm pretty sure we were all looking forward to hearing that statue play it's music, but who knows? It may not even exist in this world. Or so I thought.

(Third Person)

The music suddenly began to echo throughout the area. It was close. The trio frantically persued the music, hoping they would find something there. They did. Sitting there, in front of the statue, was a little girl with glasses and overalls. She looked distraught. "Must be the resets.." Kalani sighed. "Gettin' to all of us I guess." Frisk nodded. "Hey! You there!" Kate yelled to the girl. She turned her head and gave a very startled look. "O-Oops.. Heh. Didn't mean to scare you! Hee hee.." Kate apologized, nut Kalani gave a big, stupid grin and a thumbs up.

(Jamie POV)

I heard yelling. It startled me, and what I saw did even more. Three other humans here? No. Any others would be stupid to enter the Ebott Quadrant. Yet there they were. "Pardon my reaction, I've just been dealing with a lot of things recently. And seeing other humans doesn't really help." "Oh, then you have been dealing with Rifts and resets too then?" One of them asked. "I'm Frisk by the way. This is Kalani and this is Kate. We're here to gather the humans and stop this mess." "Okay, Frisk. By 'Rifts', you mean those holes in space-time, correct?" I responded politely. "Duh. Will you come with us or what?!" Exclaimed the one Frisk referred to as "Kalani". "I can't.." I say quietly. "Why!?" Kate asked. "Because I don't see the point. What will saving anyone help with? I can't even talk to anyone about this.." Frisk sat down next to me. "You can tell us." They gestured toward their friends. "I-I suppose.."

~Talking timeskip~ (She's just ranting about resets, don't worry ;3) (Third Person)

"We know how you feel, Jamie." Kate said. "Yeah, we all went through that stuff in our worlds. But if you come with us, we can stop it. And you and all your friends will get their memories back!" Kalani declared. Frisk giggled. "So, what do you say?" Jamie thought about it. She decided she wanted to help her friends get their memories back, and stop the Rifts and resets. "Sure. I'll go. To save my world." "Good. Let's go everyone!" Kate and Kalani skipped along the path, looking for the next Rift that would lead them further.

*yawn* Damn it's late. I can't even tell if this chapter sucks or not. If it does, tell me. I may or may not revise it, depending on how I feel. I'm exhausted now so imma go to sleep land. Nighty-Night ;P
