Chapter 1

~Nikki's Pov~

"No, I don't want to get up!" I said.

"Come on Nikki we have 3 more days left of school then you can be as lazy as you want!" Aria always woke me up when it comes to school, I am so lazy. she lives next door and our dads built a bridge to connect our rooms when we were little!

"No, fuck school!"

"Nikki if you don't get up in 5 seconds I will pour ice cold water on you!... 5.....4...3...2..."

"okay okay I'm up, I'm up" I say shouting at her.

"yay, okay! hurry up and get ready, we're going to be late!" she said

"ughh, okay!" I go inti my closet and put on a black crop top with high waisted shorts and my blue checkered vans.

"okay Aria, I'm ready lets go!"

"no, we have to eat breakfast, so hurry up and get your ass something to eat!"

"My ass would like some fruity pebbles please" I say sarcasticly.

"Haha very funny Nikki!"

" hahaa No but seriously Aria I do want fruity pebbles!"

"okay well you have hands and feet, get it yourself. "

"I'm too lasy but I'm really hungry!"

"Omg Nikki!" she walks over to the cabinets and grabs the bowls and the cereal. then she opens the drawer and grabs spoons. she hands me my cereal and she pours herself her cereal.

"okay, Nikki, we seriously have to go!"

"Skateboard to school??"

"hahaa Let's go! I got my new penny board!" she shows me her red and black board.

"Dude, that one looks amazing! I got mine too!" I showed her mine, it was purple with teal.

"Nikki, I love yours!!!"

"I know you do, let's go!"

~After School~

"Hey Aria, come to my house later so we can study for our 3 last finals!"

"Alright, see you later boo."

I get my last couple of thinga out of my locker and shove them into my backpack.

I ride my penny board back to my house. there was a lot of trafic today for some reason. My phone vibrated so I looked down and saw a message from my dad.

From: Dad(:

hey sweety, I won't be home for dinner today so just order some pizza or Chinese food. I'm sorry, love you.

I wasn't surprised that he wasn't coming home for dinner so all I said was okay, live you too. I looked up and crashed into some other kid on his skateboard.

"Watch where you're going" he said

"Rude much?" I said

"Sorry, I'm really late to rehearsals." he said while helping me up off of him

"It's fine, it was my fault, I wasn't looking."

He was so cute! he was about 5'4 or 5'5, he had chocolatey brown eyes and his smile was to die for!

"hello?? are you okay?" he asked me.

"huh? yeah, I'm fine. I gotta go." I said.

he grabbed my wrist and turned me around.

"I didn't even get your name." he said

"Nícole, but Nikki for short."

"Hi Nikki, my name is Zac Mann"

that name sounded familiar but I didn't know from where.

"oh um hi!"

"hey, I know we just met but can I get your number?" he asked then he winked at me.

i blushed and said "um sure."

he handed me his phone and I put my number in.

"Thanks, hopefully I'll see you around soon." he said

"yeah, hopefully " I said before hopping on my penny board and skating off.

I hope I see him again soon.
