"Hey Kat! You made it!"
I was snapped out of my thoughts by Marie opening the door.
"Really? I did?" I looked around sarcastically.
"Haha, very funny." Marie rolled her eyes at me and stepped aside to let me in.
I laughed as I brushed carefully past her and into the living room where the party was being held.
There wasn't a lot of people but about 30 people have gathered in her small living room to 'celebrate' my birthday. I scanned the croud looking for one face-and I found him.
