"Josh is coming back tomorrow."

Maya's heart stopped. Her face reddened. She took a moment to process it. She was no where near prepared. Did he still like her? Did he have a girlfriend? Was he with Sophie still? Did he get hotter? Maya's mind was everywhere. But in just 30 seconds, she took a deep breath and said
"Cool."
"How can you say that's cool? You were in love with the guy." Gracie said.
"Maya, I know what you're thinking, you need a boyfriend. We can call someone and pay them to pretend to be your boyfriend." Riley suggested. Obviously, it wasn't the best idea but Maya needed Josh to think she had moved on like he probably had.
"Who would want to date me? I'm a mess. We'd have to pay them like $300."
"Peaches, of course you're a mess. But you're a great mess. Also, I don't know if you've noticed but a lot of guys like you."
"Thanks? And no, I'm pretty sure you're seeing things."
"Oh come on Maya! Evan, Jacob, and Kyle are totally in love with you. I don't even know them but I see the way they look at you." Gracie said. Maya blushed.
"Evan doesn't like me. Neither do those other guys."
"Evan and those other guys? You like Evan don't you!" Riley shouted the last sentence and Maya smacked her foot.
"I do not!" She blushed.
"Whatever. Let's make a list of those 3 guys and describe them."
They ended up writing:

Jacob-
Very popular class clown. Doesn't even recognize his popularity. Very nice and cute.
Kyle-
Most popular guy in school. Very cute. Attracts almost every girl. He is nice but only because he wants the answers to math homework.
Evan-
Very smart and quiet kid. He always wears a beanie and sits in the back of classes. He's really sweet and a little awkward.
"Alright Maya, decision time." Gracie smirked.
"Jacob." She said simply.
"Shut up. You like Evan and you know it. If you don't ask him to do it for you, I will!" Riley ordered.
"Riles, I'm not gonna ask him."
Riley smiled sweetly before mouthing sorry. She quickly launched at Maya's phone. After unlocking it and fighting Maya, Riley was able to type.

Hey Evan. I was wondering if we could talk at Topanga's after school tomorrow. I need to ask you a favor.

The only reason Riley succeeded texting that was because Gracie held Maya back.
After Riley gave the phone back, Maya lectured her about phone stealing and not to text your best friend's crush
"So you admit you like him?"
"For the last time, I do not-"
Maya's phone buzzed interupting her.

Anything for you Maya. See you then.

Riley and Gracie giggled behind Maya, also reading it. Maya quickly Turned her phone off and looked down, trying to hide her blush.
This would be very interesting.
