This is my first chapter, so I know it is really short. These chapters will be much longer in the future, so hang in tight. Also, I might take suggestions if there are any, so feel free to leave any comments, and you might see a chapter on your idea. :D

Your POV
Your flight took off, the daylight slowly coming to an end. You look around, taking out a map of your new city. A knew apartment waited for you, in California, room number 113.
You thought of all the memories that stayed back In Pensilvania. Your family, your friends, but especially your dog, hero. He was always the happiest, most energetic dog anyone has probably ever seen. It wasn't fair for him to get cancer. It wasn't fair for him to leave. And even though it happened over a year ago, you remember it as if it were yesterday.
You put the map away in your bag, trying to hold back the tears. Slouching back into your seat, you slowly lowered your eyelids, and thought of how different it could be. Then again, you had to start from scratch, an entirely new life.

The plane finally landed. Grabbing your bags with caution, you walked out of the gateway and started looking for the exit. You stepped outside to be greeted with noisy cars and the smell of gasoline. It would of bothered you, but the breezy warm air made it comforting.
You hailed a cab and told the driver where your new apartment is. He slowly backed up the car onto the road again, as you took off and followed the car in front of you. The world around you stops as you stay in the back seat, scrolling through your phone. But you were thinking. Memories flooded your head, but you quickly pushed them aside, knowing you would have a break down, and be a sobbing mess.

After what seemed to be twenty minutes or so, you paid the taxi driver and hopped out of the car. The door made a creek as it was opened. You trailed along inside, dragging your luggage behind you. You waited for the elevator to open, and walked inside as soon as it did.
You finally arrived to your new apartment. Darkness shone through your neighbors window when you glanced at it. It was probably really late, so you opened the door and didn't bother to unpack your stuff. The only thing you did was get the blow up mattress going, and stopped the airflow as soon as it was done.
You passed out, gradually closing your eyes. You knew your life was going to change, whether it was going to be bad or good.
Tomorrow was the start of a new beginning.

Thank you all so much for reading the first chapter of this book. This was so much fun to write, even though it is currently 1 a.m. here. I will probably update this tomorrow and if not day after tomorrow. Maybe tonight depending how tired I get. Anyways, I could ramble on for hours, but I think you don't want to hear that. I hope you guys liked it and look forward to my next chapter. See Ya Later Alligator. :D
