Lilly's P.O.V

"Sit by your partner and that's where you'll sit for the rest of the year" "but I thought this was just for the semester" Aaryn -queen bee- commented "it is, but I probably won't want move your seats, plus the school year will be almost over." Lazy monkey butt. "what was that, Lilly?" Oops, I said that out loud.... "oh, that was nothing, I was just thinking of how lazy my bestfriend is" I said confidently. "oh, okay, well c'mon get moving" with that everyone got up and started moving around, accept me. I just stared at the desk with no emotion.

I heard shuffling beside me, and I looked up and seen Louis Tomlinson.

"so, what are we gonna do, dork" I said nonchalantly "w-well I t-think we should d-do a combinant fizzy f-fruit p-project, it's r-really easy and w-we can u-use a t-tri-board f-for the essay" he said. I just sat there looking at him, while blinking, not understanding. I think he finally caught onto my actions as he nervously sighed " U-using dry ice to c-carbonate fruit. The fruit will be f-filled with t-tingly carbon dioxide b-bubbles, like a s-soda. The fizzy fruit is great to eat on its own or it can be used in recipes." Louis said, "how do you know this by heart, and isn't that abit easy, not that I'm complaining, but still." I said "w-well I-I done t-this last year f-for a project, and y-yeah it's pretty e-easy" "yeah, you're a nerd" I said, he looked down for a second then back up "S-so a-are we gonna d-do the p-project?" He asked ignoring my earlier comment. "yeah" I replied back simply. "S-so a-are we gonna go to y-yours or m-mine?" he asked nervously. It was my turn to stutter "U-uhh.... Ummm could we l-like g-go to uhh y-yours" he looked at me oddly, obviously noticing my sudden mood change "uhh... Sure" he said unsure.

*skip to lunch*

Math and English had been easy. It was now time for lunch. Riley and I met at my locker, before heading to the cafeteria "So how was chemistry" Riley asked, seeing as she couldn't earlier. "Uh.. uh... I-it was okay" I stuttered, awkwardly, and Riley -being the best friend she is- knew something was up. "what happened?" She asked "Well, we kind of have a project, and-" she cut me off by groaning, I scowled and she quickly put her hands up in defense "okay continue" she said "anyways we have to have partners, and the teacher picks them for us...." I said trailing off "so who did you get? Wait let me guess..." She said "is it Nate?" She asked grimacing, you see Nate was like the school creep. "is it Aaryn" she asked unhopeful "no, I got a boy" "ooh ooh is it Jeremy?" "no you nut, he's a nerd" "oh uh is it Walden?" She asked awkwardly (A/N to all you two and a half men fans) "nope nerdier" I said, her eyes widened "Louis Tomlinson?!?" She asked loudly, causing people in the corridor to look at us "nothing to see hear, go back to your daily lives!" I yelled down the corridor, then put my head down slightly "did you have to be so loud?!" I hissed "sorry" Riley Saud sheepishly "But, yes Louis Tomlinson" she grimaced again "ooh sorry girl, but you can tough it out, and on the plus side you won't have to deal with your aunt for a couple days everyday" she said now smiling. I sighed "yeah, your right" "I know" she said playfully. I shot her a playful scowl. "anyways let's got to lunch.

*skips to end of the day*

The final bell rang, so I got up, put my things in my bag and left the classroom.

When I got to my locker, I put the things I wouldn't need in my locker and went outside. I seen Louis and walked up to him he tensed and turned around, only for me to see he had a black eye. I gasped "what happened?" I asked and he looked down obviously not wanting to tell me, I sighed "let's walk to my house I have something to take care of, then we can go work on the project" I said changing the subject. Louis nodded and we took off.

When we reached my house I turned around slightly to face Louis "wait here nerd, okay I won't be long" I said to him, he nodded shyly. I walked in looking for Grace, so I could tell her to get some stuff ready to stay at our grandma's house for the night (we didn't stay with her originally because Grace was too young at the time and she didn't want to have the stress of two little kids, plus our aunt was already staying with us.)

After searching the house for her, I looked in the kitchen to find a note on the fridge.

'Grace went to stay the night at a friends house for the night, I went out to the bar I'll be back later.

Okay then, I walked out of my house and towards where Louis was standing "okay, lets go" I said, u just stood there, I'm guessing waiting for me to start walking "I don't know where you live dork, so lead the way" I said smugly "o-oh, r-right" he said and started walking ahead of me, and I realized he had a really nice bum. Louis suddenly looked back "p-please s-stop staring" he stuttered, I giggled and started walking.

When we got to his house I was surprised at how big it was. After entering we heard little foot steps and a little girls voice "come meet our big brother, he's awsome!" And with that three little girls -one being my little sister- walked in "Grace?" I asked her "Sissyy!" She exclaimed running to me and hugging my legs "Grace what are you doing here?" I asked "Auntie Tracy said I could stay the night here" oh, so that's why the note meant. "Okay, well go play, Louis and I have homework to do, I'll talk to you in a while alright?" I a said and she nodded then ran off. "Why don't we get some ice for your eye?" I asked/stated he nodded and motioned me to follow him, where the lichen was. "sit down I'll get it" I said, and he did as told, I walked over to the freezer and got an icepack out and wrapped a paper towel around it, then gently placing it on his eye, where he placed a hand on it. "okay, now that that's done lets get to work" I said, he nodded and I followed him upstairs.
