College. That's the next step in life for some people. Tobias and I already went to college and got that done and over with. I don't have a job, but Tobias does. He's a police officer. He's off duty right now, and is somewhere in the house. Life has been pretty good so far. Tobias and I are happy. Really happy. We got our own house.

Right now, it's the beginning of summer. Summer vacation for most kids. I'm on the porch right now, sitting on our porch swing, reading a book. It's called My Life Next Door. It's really good so far. Tobias burst out the door with an out of breath expression but a big smile on his face.

"Wanna go to the park? It's really nice today plus, we can get her out of the house." I smile at him and nod my head. "Just get her ready."

"Alright, love you."

"Love you too."

Tobias walks back in the house to get ready. I go back in and lay my book on the table near the couch. I slip on a pair of tennis shoes and put a pair of flip-flops in an adidas backpack. I also grab the sunscreen, and walk outside. The warm Summer breeze blows my hair gently. I hear the gentle pitter-patter of feet. It gets quiet when the sound gets near the door the door.

I hear Tobias putting on shoes and says "There we go!"

A little giggle emits from the air. I turn around when the door opens. I smile when I see my little angel. "Ready to go Lindsey?"

"Yes!", the little girl exclaims.

I smile and pick up my four year old daughter. "Tell daddy to hurry up then we can go."

She turns her head and shouts, "Hurry up daddy!!" I hear Tobias laugh.

"I'm coming, just give me a second." After a few seconds, he walk outside. He wraps and arm around my waist and gives me a kiss on my head. "Ready to go?" I smile and nod my head.

Life has never been this perfect. I have a family of my own and friends. Who could ask for more?
