It's just a thing...

Chapter 3

I had just woken up from my nap and Liam was talking to Jade. I didn't know what they were talking about but it was probably about spjessica in my lap. I didn't go over and talk to her because he was there and I was trying to let him keep his space. After I ate dinner I went over to talk to them.

"Hey Liam wanna help me teach Jade how to use her knife?" I asked

"Sure." He said

"You guys don't have to go through the trouble, I'm not gonna learn anyways." Jade said

"You are learning, and you will get tonight no matter how long it takes." Liam and I said.

Liam, Jade, and I went out to the woods. A zombie jumped out of a tree and almost bit Jade, but before it got her I mashed it's head into the tree and it fell and died. After that happened we dragged the zombie to the pit where we burned all the dead zombie corpses. I lit the pit on fire, we started walking back to camp to tell my dad what had happened. Before we got back a man with his wrists tied behind his back came out.

"Help me please. I've been taken in by some bad people in town, they were gonna kill me so I escaped. So please help me before they come find me." The man said

I walked over to him and checked him for weapons, he had a pistol in his boot and a knife at his side.

"If people captured you they would have taken your weapons away." I said

Before he said another thing, Liam shot him in the head. He fell to the ground and I looked at Liam like ' what the fuck dude? ' Liam started dragging him away him away. I had done this before, people tried to tell me this kind of thing before but I knew they were lying because my dad wanted me to become a detective when I turned 18 so I had studied up on a lot of detective stuff and I knew they were lying. After I put him in the pit we started to walk back to camp. No one said a word the whole way back, I knew something was up but I didn't say anything because I knew Liam wouldn't care because he was there last time this had happened, and Jade would've just asked questions and I didn't feel like answering so I stayed silent. When we got back to camp I went to my dad and whispered in his ear what had happened, all he did was nod. I went to bed after that.

I woke up in the middle of the night because I was really cold and I was shivering. It was raining outside so I went as far back in the second cave hole area to stay warm. When I got back there I saw Liam and Jade sleeping next to each other. I left and went back to where everyone else was sleeping. I was angry as all get out, I was the one who liked Jade. I raced through my mind wondering why she liked him and not me. I ended up giving up on the idea of her and I, so I went to sleep.
