The Exchange Students

I really need to get used to the time difference! It would be 7 in America. When I looked at my phone first thing when I woke up, I had 3 texts from Niall! Aaaaah I can't believe it!! They read, "hey..... It was nice meeting you yesterday..... Do you want to hang out sometime and get to know each other more?" it reminds me of me, sending texts at different times even though they could fit one message. :p it's just all amazing!!

Knock knock.

"Come in!" said the voice on the other side of the door.

I walked into the girls' room. "Hey guys. I wasn't sure if you guys were awake or not."

"We've been up for a couple hours now," Mios said.

I sat on the edge of Mios's bed. "So what are you guys doing?"

"Watching 1D YouTube videos" Maddy said as she started to laugh.

"Sounds fun." I said as the bed vibrated from the incoming text on my phone. It was Niall again.

I sat there and looked at my phone smiling as I read his text:

I'm going into town. Would you guys like t come along with me and Ryan?

I replied with:

Of course. I'd love to!

And pressed send.

"Who you talking to? No wait, don't tell me!" Maddy said with a know-it-all look on her face. "I'm gonna guess," I already knew she knew, "Blonde, Irish, has gorgeous blue eyes, is in a band?"

"Aw Niall is so cute!! I think he likes you sister!" Mios said with a sweet expression on her face.

"Maaaaaybe," I smiled at them and hid my face as I started to blush.

"What if you guys hooked up and got married one day," Mios went on, "He would be my brother in law!"

"Ha... ha... ha.... very funny!" I said sarcasticly, "I doubt that will happen."

"Who knows!" Maddy said as she wiggled her eyebrows.

"Anyways, change of topic. Do you guys want to go into town?"

30 minutes later we were all changing into our clothes. I wanted to dress up a little for Niall. I chose my American Eagle skinny jeans with a lime green tank top and dark blue jacket thing with my white flip flops. We all were down stairs sitting on the couch waiting for Niall to come over.

Ding dong.

There's Niall. He walked into the living room, smiling as he saw me. I turned my face as I started to blush.

"Shall we go now?" Ryan said.

"Before you go, you ladies probably don't have a lot of money. Here, I want each of you ladies to have €100." Mrs. Straf insisted.

"No, Mrs. Straf, we can't take that. We aren't even buying anything." I felt bad taking her money even if she offered it.

"Well you might want to buy things for school because it's starting in a week. And I give my son the same amount and it's only fair that I treat you the same way while you are here. For the year, you ladies are my daughters. So here take it."

"Aaawwwwww, thank you so much Mrs. Straf!" We all thanked her and then each got a big hug from the sweet lady.

"Do you guys mind if we turn on the radio?" Niall asked.

"Nope," I replied, "not at all."

"Oh, I love this song." Niall said as he turned up the radio. The A Team by Ed Sheeran was playing. "This lad is such a great artist!" He started to sing.

Next thing you knew, we were all sing along to the radio.

Niall looked back at us and told us, "You guys have really nice voices!"

Mios, Maddy, and me started laughing.

"Thanks!" Mios and Maddy said.

"Ha.... Ha.... Ha.... Sure! Thanks." I said with an unbelieving tone.

As we pulled into the parking lot Niall asked, "So is anyone hungry?" No surprise he wants food, "There's a McDonalds in the mall."

"Mmmmm... Food sounds delicious!" Maddy said.

"Yes it does." Mios added. "We haven't had breakfast yet so yeah, we're hungry."

"You'll never have to ask me if I'm hungry! I'm can always eat food no matter when! Food is my favorite thing in the world, I love it so much!" I stated and they all laughed.

"Love it even more than me and the rest of the lads in One Direction?" The girls and Ryan laughed at what Niall said.

"Um, I-I," I wasn't sure what to say.

"It's okay, food is my favorite thing in the world, too." I smiled at Nialls response.

After we ate and went looking in the different stores that were in ILAC, we finally went back Ryan's house, which I guess is our house too. We all had at least one bag from shopping.

Since we had a limit of what we could bring with us on the plane, I bought a couple of outfits. Nothing too expensive and it was all casual clothes.

"Hey."

"Holy buh-Jesus! You scared me!" I said as I turned to Niall, placing my hand over my chest trying to catch my breath from my almost mini heart attack.

"Buh-Jesus?" he repeated.

"Yeah, um, I don't know. Some things just come out of my mouth without me knowing what I meant and they don't always make sense." I said in one breath.

"You talk a lot, and pretty fast."

"Yeah... I know that." I looked down at the floor then back to him. He was looking around my room, probably noticing my One Direction posters everywhere. He must think I'm one of those crazy, obsessed fans... Especially after seeing my 'wall of Niall' I had by my bed.

When his beautiful blue eyes met mine, he said, "Wow," he must be talking about my walls, "you must really like us. It's like you have One Direction wallpaper."

I felt kinda embarrassed. "My parents tell me, 'your walls would be covered with 1D wallpaper if they had it.'"

He laughed.

"So did you need something?"

"U-um yeah."

Was he being shy? Around me?

"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tomorrow. Just the two of us. I'd like to get to know you, because you probably know almost everything about me." He said with a small smile in his face.

"Wow, you make me sound like a stalker!" We both laughed and I kinda blushed. "I would really like that."

"Okay. I will see you tomorrow then. I will text you in the morning and let you know when. Have a nice night, Mariah."

"Night, Niall." I replied as he was closing my door.

I must be dreaming or something, I thought to myself. Nobody pinch me.

I have a date with Niall tomorrow! Me out of the billions of people on earth!!! Eeeeeeep. If you asked me a week ago what I'd be doing in a week, I probably would've said be lazy and stay in the house, NOT going on a date with thee Niall Horan! <3
