Multi

2nd Summer

I decided to go meet Logan's niece and her mate.  They were going camping, so I popped into the woods.  I walked over to their campsite.

"Mary, what are you doing here?" Rogue asked.

"I came to meet Martha and Bruce!" I answered.

Martha walked over to me a bit confused with Bruce.

"Can I help you?" she asked.

"My name is Mary Jones, but my friends know me as Multi!" I answered with a smile.

"Why would Multi want to get to know us?"

"You are someone special in your world!"

"What do you mean?"

"I can't tell you!"

She thought I was strange, but she thought I was staring at Logan.  I was looking at his memories.  Martha was able to give them all back to him.

"I told you someone would give them back to you!" I said with a smile.

"You were right about them being an important part of my life also!" Logan said with a wide smile.

I sat down next to the fire, and pulled a water bottle out of my bag.  It was a bottle of animal blood.  Martha was a bit confused.

"It's the vampire in me!" I said looking at her.

"What?" she asked confused.

"I know that you are trying to figure out why I am drinking a bottle of blood!"

I did not talk a lot.  I meanly just watched them.  After a few s'mores Rogue and Bobby went to bed.

"Are you still having nightmares?" I asked.

"Yes!" Logan answered.

I nodded.  Bruce went into the woods, and turned into a wolf.

"If you want me to leave I can!" I said as Logan went to bed.

"I never said I wanted you to leave!" she said confused.

"I know you did not say it, but I can feel you don't really want me here!"

"I am not trying to be rude!"

"I know!  I just don't want you to think I am here to ruin your family outing!"

She could tell I really meant what I was saying.  She did not understand why I talked like people don't want me around.  It made her think about when she was learning about her powers.

"You can stay!" she said with a smile.

"Thank you!" I said with a very sweet smile.

She nodded then went for a run in the woods.  I decided to go see a different group, so I left a note.  I went to a different dimentions Japan.  I moved into a haunted house.  I smiled as I drove to to SPR's Office.

"Welcome to...!" Mai started saying.

"Mai, who are you talking to?" Naru asked walking out of his office.

"My name is Mary Jones!  I am an American, and I moved here just recently!" I answered, "I need help getting a few ghosts out of my house!"

"How do you know it is ghosts?"

I pulled out my phone, and went to an app that shows cameras in the house.  Things were floating around with no one there.

"Fine, we will take the job!" he said.

I left before he could tell me anything else, but I left money and my address with Mai.

"This is the place?" Monk asked.

"This is the address she gave us!" Mai answered.

I opened the door, and smiled at the many faces.  There was Naru, Lin, Mai, Monk, John, Masako, Ayako, and Osamu.

"Hello everyone!" I said letting them in.

"I did not get the chance to introduce myself yesterday!" Naru said.

"Don't bother!"

They all looked at me confused.

"I will come up with little nicknames to call you, so it does not matter if you tell me your names!" I said trying to sound convincing.

"Your bad with names?" Mai asked.

I just nodded as I lead them into the kitchen.  The dishes were all over the place.

"There are many spirits here!" Masako said closing her eyes.

Mai looked a bit uneasy.  I looked around me as I felt someone grab my shoulders.  My eyes went wide as I saw that everyone was in front of me.

"Run!" I said just before I was pulled through the kitchen wall into the dining room.

They run, but they ran toward me.  I popped up, and grabbed my necklace.  I was unable to open it.

"Great!" I groaned.

"Are you ok?" They asked.

"No, we need to get out of here!"

I had to have help getting up.  Monk ended up carrying me.  We could not find a way out.  I had them go into the living room.  I jumped out of Monk's arms, and drew my symbol on the door.

"Why did you draw that?" Naru asked.

"Look, I know who you all are!  I know everything about you!" I answered looking at them with fear written on my face, "My name is Mary Jones, but my friends know me as Multi!"

"The superhero?" Monk asked.

"Yes, but my powers are in this locket!  And I can't get it to open!" I answered holding out my necklace.

"How do we get them out?" Mai asked.

"Try to open it!" I answered throwing it to her.

My necklace was passed around among them, until it was handed to Naru.

"Why did you come here?" he asked looking at me.

"I wanted to make all of you my friends, but I did not look at the monsters that lived here before I did anything!" I answered.

He opened my necklace with ease.  It was a bit pain for for everything to heal as my powers rushed into me.  I was able to stop the Demons, before anyone else got hurt.

"Well, welcome to the group!" Naru said holding out his hand for me to shake.

"Thanks!" I said shaking his hand.

They considered me their friend, and I gave them a Comphone.  I helped, in a way, with a few cases.  They all grew to be more like a family, and I was able to join it.  Once the summer was close to being over I went back to School.
