Vampire Slayer

I teleported to Sunnydale High.  I was in the same world as Angel, but at an earlier time in his time frame.  I smiled at the smell of vampires.  This was going to be a really good event.  I would get to meet Buffy and the Scobby Gang.  I laid down on the table in the Library, and waited for them to show up.

"I don't see why I need to learn French!" Xander said as him and Willow walked through the doors.

"Because you might want to go to France one day!" Willow said trying to get him to understand.

"That is not in your cards!" I said sitting up.

"What do you mean it is not in my cards?" Xander asked.

"Are you playing a card game?"

I looked around trying to figure out why I said that.

"No, you said that going to France was not in my cards!" Xander said.

"I know, I don't know why I asked that!  I have not seen you go to France, and I do not see you going to France!" I answered stilling looking around.

"What are you looking for?" Willow asked.

"Puppies!  I want a puppy!" I answered sounding like a little kid.

"There are no puppies here!" Xander said backing way.

"Sorry, I seem to be having a little problem right now!  I don't know what it is!" I said closing my eyes.

I let my powers take over for once, to see if that would help.  I opened my eyes, and saw the whole gang staring at me with wide-eyes.  I looked down, and saw that I was a child.

"Ok, this is not funny!" I said in a little girls voice, "I don't like the power that be right now!"

"What are you?" Wesley asked.

"My name is Mary, but I am also known as Multi!"

"What are you doing here?"

"Trying to make friends!"

"Why are you a little kid?" Faith asked.

"I guess I am to be one to help you!" I answered.

"Why don't you just change back to normal?"

"I am trying!  My powers know what is best for the time, so at times they decide what I do!"

They started to research over the demon Buffy saw the night before.  I pulled out my box, and opened it.  All of my powers flew into it, and I smiled.

"Ok, so what did you just do?" Oz asked.

"I am a normal human girl now!" I answered sweetly.

"Why would you do that?"

"It felt right!"

"So now a kid is going to help us?" Faith asked looking at Wesley.

"I guess, but I don't think it is the best thing!" Wesley answered.

"You don't get a say!" I said trying to sound big.

"Who does get a say?" Giles asked.

"Me!"

Ms. Calendar walked in reading a newspaper.  She handed it to Buffy.

"There is a demon kidnapping kids!" Buffy said as the paper made its way around the group.

"If you help us stop it I will consider you my friend!" Faith said looking at me.

"I agree with Faith!"

"Ok, let's get ready then!" I said opening my necklace letting some of my powers flow into me.

I handed them copies of the comphone, and smiled as they tried to figure it out.  Xander pressed Beck's Letter.

"Hello!" He said answering the call.

"Who are you?" Xander asked.

"Beck Oliver!  I am a friend of Mary's!  You just get the comphone?"

Xander nodded.

"Cool, well I have class!  I will talk to you later!" Beck said before hanging up.

They went off to class, and I hang out with Giles and Wesley reading books.  At lunch the group came to eat in the library to look to find out what could be taking the children.  They found a lot different demons, but we did not know for sure which one it was.  After all of their classes we got ready to hunt.  We had to wait for sundown.  As soon as it was night fall I went to a park, and waited for the thing to come get me.

"You should not be out here by yourself!" a man said as I was getting on the monkey bars.

I looked to see Angel looking at me with worry.

"I am fine sir!" I said with a smile.

As he was about to say something a demon ran at me, and ran off with me.  Buffy and Faith stopped the demon as Angel was chasing after it.  Willow and Oz were looking at books to see if they could find a way to kill it.  I smiled at them, and tore off the demon's arm.  I ate the arm with a shark toothed smile.  The demon grow scared, and went to ran away.  I grabbed it, and ate it whole.  They all stared at me with wide eyes.

"It eats the children, so it can make a mate!  It needed one more before the mate would be made!" I said looking at them confused, "So I ate it!  You can kill it by decapitation, bleeding out, and silver!"

"Well, looks like we have a new friend!" Xander said as him, Cordy, Wesley, and Giles walked over.

We all nodded with a smile, and I orbed away after a promise to come back.
