A white lie

He denies everything. Me and Elliot both want to kill him.
Cragen says that they are going to put him in a line up, but I don't want Eden to have to see him again. I know that she has to though, to nail this son of a bitch, but I really don't want to re traumatise her.

"Eden, I promise that they can't see you okay. You can see inside but they can't see out" I say
I pick her up and take her inside the room.
"See, you can't see out now can you?"
She shakes her head.
I take her back out and with in a few minutes six men are lined up. I hold Eden in my arms.
"Hey Eden. I know that it's hard baby, but could you tell me who the man is? The one that you told Amanda about? What's his number?" I ask
Eden looks through the window.
"Mommy, mommy I don't want to" she cries into my shoulder.
This breaks mine and Elliot's heart.
"Baby, come on sweetie. It's okay. Just tell us what number he is, he can't see you" Elliot says "Tell daddy what number he is"
"N..number.. Number three" she says
I sigh inside.
"Thank you baby, you did great. You are gonna go back with Amanda, and I'll come and get you soon. Me you and daddy are going out for dinner okay?"
She smiles "okay"
Amanda takes Eden into Cragen's office.
"Liv, I know that this is really hard, but we are going to do everything to get this guy" Cragen says
"Thank you" I say tearfully
"Come on baby lets get Eden home" Elliot says
"Okay"

We get in the car. Elliot drives us to mc donnalds. I sit in the back with Eden and hold her hand the whole way there.
We order what ever she wants. Her usual, chicken nuggets and fries with a strawberry milkshake and a cookie.
When we are done we make our way back to the apartment.
Me and Elliot both think that is best that she stays off of school whilst this is being sorted out. I barely want to let her out of my sight! Let alone go to school with him...
