As they enter the forest. Almost all light is lost. Strange noises occur and hunger sets in. They try to find food without leaving the dimly lit path. it grows darker and darker.
The boy sets up a fire and a place to sleep.
Later the next morning everyone rested, all three of them go out to find food. the sheep is the first to find some edible grass and berries. They eventually come across a small clearing later in the day with a stream nearby. As they wearily set up camp for the night the girl complains about not having any meat to give them energy. The boy who had never killed an animal in his life could not believe what she was saying. How could she just kill something for her own benefit. Could she be trusted? What else little secrete does she have? She went out while these questions rattled his mind. After she came back empty handed he was relieved. As they slept those thoughts ran through his mind until he fell asleep from exhaustion. In the morning they set out to find the end of the forest.
They walked for hours. As they walked they came across the clearing the sheep filled with joy ran out to soak up the suns rays. All three of them laid down all feeling the warmth of the sun. About thirty minutes later the girl got up and the boy now seeing what he thinks is the most beautiful thing in the world. The girl standing in front of him and the sun behind her magnifying every little difference in her face.
They started on their journey once more finding the end just a few miles down the path.
