I went to Joe's apartment to see if he can get me job in the mafia.I never thought i would be going to the mafia especially after i got out of the army.But times like this when my family in trouble its what i have to do.I went too Joe's floor it smelled like old wood and a musty air.I knocked on his door to see if he a wake.I waited for a few minuses still no answer.I went to a pay phone to call his cell to see if he answered his phone.Few call latter he finally answered
" Hello who this? " I asked
" This is Joe. "
" Hey Joe this is Vito. "
" Hey Vito!!! How you doing. "
" I'm doing good. I've been looking for you for an hour now.Where are you, I decided ill join the the mafia."
"Really!! I thought you didn't want to join? "
"I'll tell you latter but can i join?"
"You have perfect timing Vito i'm having a meeting with one of the the Boss.Come by and see if i can let accept you in there family. "
" Oh really,where are you having the meeting? "
" On 7th Street" he said. "

When I was at the restaurant it smelled like my mom house when she was cooking her famous pasta.I could smell the aroma of of expensive cologne and perfume .I Couldn't find Joe.I went to the second floor and i saw Joe and three other guys seated be hided him.I walked up to them and shook their hand.
" Hi my name is Vito Scaletta "
" Hey Vito my name Henry and this is Sivilo. And your friend Joe says you want to join the Mafia. "
"Yes,that correct."
"So why do you want to join the Mafia." asked Henry
" I'm just a simple man that wants respect and money. "

How am I going to get 2 grand yet another 5 grand.But I had to do it.Its better then working at the factory just for a couple of bucks an hour.

" I want you to break in the bureau and steal the stamps. " Henry asked
" Why do you need stamp ? "
" Ever since the US declared war on Germany stamps are now a necessity.They go for a five dollar a stamp.Image selling stacks of stamps.We will be rich.Can you do that for me Vito I'll make sure you get a cut in it too. "
