A baby cried in the night, echoing through the hallways of the nursery. A man and a woman rushed to the room the baby was held in.

"Do you suppose she need's milk?" The woman asks.

"No," the man said in his deep voice. "I feel the child just needs a little something."

The man's big hands reached down into the crib where the small baby squirmed. His hand then tickles her plump belly slightly. The baby stopped crying about 3 minutes after and began to laugh.

"She just needs a little love." The man smiles down at the child and picks him up. "Shhh.. It's ok, Naomi. It's ok." He hushed her down and put her back in the crib. "She'll be ok. But I bet she'll be up again in an hour or so."

"Alright, Marco." The lady stated and began to walk to her post again in the front of the nursery building.

"The child's so-" The lady spoke.

"Don't say it, Elizabeth."

"What?" asked Elizabeth.

"Don't you dare say she's odd." The man stared down at the floor.

With a smile, Elizabeth placed her hand on his shoulder. "it's ok."

The man looks up at her with his brown eyes and stroked his hand through his blonde hair. He sighed. "I hope she'll be ok.."
