Chapter 8

*Sam's POV*

I tossed and turned on my couch , not being able to think straight. Does she really love Alfie or does she just hate me for the things i've done for her? I quickly stood from my uncomfortable position on the couch. I grabbed my coat, slipped on my shoes and headed for the front door. As i was about to shut the door , i heard a innocent voice call my name. I turned around to see Perrie standing there with worried expression on her face. I looked down at the ground and slowly shut the door in her face.

I walked down the vacant streets with my hands in my pockets and my head hung low. I needed to get out of that house and think. I couldn't stand the fact that my love was in the same house as me , hurt and won't let me love her. It break's my heart in so many places. I had no idea where i was going to so i decided to walk back. I opened the door slowly and quietly. As i turned around from shutting the door, i was startled from a pair of hands glued to my back engulfing me in a hug. I looked down to realize it was Perrie who was clinging to me for dear life. I felt my shirt moist as her tears fell rapidly down her already tinted pink cheeks. I slowly caressed her soft hair and whispered in her ear. She looked up at me through her wet leashes and mouthed the word's "I'm sorry". She placed her head back onto my chest. I slowly moved our bodies closer to the couch and sat down. She let go of me and held my hand in her cold pale ones. She looked into my eyes, with pain, sadness and most of all. Regret. 'Sam .. I'm really sorry i didn't be honest with you upstairs' She said slowly making sure i understood every word she was saying. I didn't respond , giving her a look to continue talking 'I do really like you! I'm just scared .. What happens after tonight? I go back home to get beat again? You start bullying me again? Is this all an act or are you serious?' She asked with pleading eyes.

I looked down at my lap and looked back up into her eyes. Why couldn't i say i love her! What's holding me back? A million memories flashed into my brain. Most of them not very pleasant. I cringed at my disturbing thought's of me hurting this girl physically and emotionally. 'I love you' I let the words that i have been holding in forever out with a sigh of relief.

*Perrie's POV*

I stared at the ceiling for what seemed like hours. I was snapped out of my daze by a rustling sound coming downstairs. My curiosity got the best of me. I quietly stood from the bed and made my way to the long extending stairs in front of me. I just could just barely see with the street lights shining through the windows.I slowly cascaded down the stairs towards the living room. I just made it to the bottom of the stairs , to see Sam gathering his stuff and heading for the door. 'Sam ..?' I called with my eyebrows knit together in confusion. He looked back at me with eyes that had mixed emotions in them. He slowly shut the door. I broke down to my knee's and cried so hard i was scared i was gonna wake the neighbors. Jet black mascara was racing down my cheek till i could taste the bitter salty and mascara mixed tear. I got up and placed myself on the couch.

I heard the door slowly creek open. I opened my eyes and saw a tall figure taking his shoes off. Without thinking, i ran from my current spot to the figure and wrapped my arms around its slim waist with all the strength i had in my tiny fragile body. I felt him jump a little as our bodies connected. I silently sobbed into his shirt , wetting it with my tears. He caressed my hair , a bolt of relief went through my veins. He slowly and carefully moved us over to the couch. I sat up straight and looked into his eyes. 'Sam .. I'm really sorry i didn't be honest with you upstairs' i said meaning every word of it. He gave me a looked to continue on with my apology.I had a million question's running through my head but only picked one that stood out the most. 'I do really like you! I'm just scared .. What happens after tonight? I go back home to get beat again? You start bullying me again? Is this all an act or are you serious?' I asked taking a deep breath of hope and fear. He looked in the opposite direction of my eyes. I didn't know what was coming , but i was scared of his response. I was gazing to the wall behind him , when out of the blue he looked up and said the words i have been yearning to hear fall off his lips. 'I love you' he said with no stutter, his eye's dead serious. My heart fluttered. I felt something i've never felt before for anyone. Love.

Hey lovlies! Sorry it's taken ages for me to update. I have been at the hospital everyday now visiting my grandpa. He's dying unfortunately so that's why i haven't really updated much. Hope you guy's like this chappie!
