Out of Body, Out of Mind

chapter 3

I woke up back in my body and my legs began to hurt. I looked over to find Kiamani asleep next to me. I rolled over in pain and ran my fingers through his hair. And kissed his forehead. "I love you" I said softly. He woke up and looked at me "i love you to dear" He brushed his hand against my cheek then pulled my face torard his, then he passionatly kissed me. "Hailey, do you feel any better" He said. "Yes I do feel a little better". My legs didnt feel much better it still ached when I would move.

"I will go make you some breakfast love" Kiamani said smiling really big. He got up and kissed me. He went out to the living room and got the mail off the table by the door. There was a letter for me. He walked into the room. "Hailey who is Jason?" he question. "Why" i just stared at him. "You have a letter from him" He handed me the letter kind of slow. He stood there and watched me open it. I read it.

It read:
Dear Hailey,
I know we havent talked in quite sometime. I want to meet up sometime. Maybe I can take you on a date.
Sincer-

I didnt get to read the rest. Kiamani snatched the letter from my hand, and read it. "He signed it with his number Hailey, is there something i should know" he looked pissed. "No kiamani i dont know why he wrote me" he glared at me. "Im sorry what do you want me to do" I sighed. "Call him" Kiamani handed me the phone. " oh um ok"

I took the phone and typed in the number. It started to ring. Then he answered. "Hello" he said

"Yea um hi" I said nervously.
"Is this Hailey" he asked surprised.
"Yes it is " I said
"Im engaged we cant go out sometime"
He sat silently on the other end of the phone.
"Sorry" I said as my finger slowly hit the end button.

Kiamani walked in with a plate of food. "Here love" he said handing it to me.

I had fallen asleep and had another internal moment. When I left my body I looked down toward Kiamani's side of the bed, he was gone. All of a sudden i heard the car doors unlock. I ran downstairs before he went outside and got into the car. After 15 minutes of waiting he got into the car. He still didnt see me revealing to me he wasnt an internal at the moment. He drove off, we drove for 10 minutes before he stoped and got out of the car. He walked to a small torn up blue house. He knocked and a young blonde woman came out. She looked at kiamani and smiled "hey baby" she said as she leaned in and kissed him. I felt my heart shatter in my chest. The girl was only 20 but looked 40 her teeth were crooked and yellow and her hair was oily. Kiamani looked at her and held her waste "hey alyssa, how was your day beautiful?"
They eventually went inside. I slowly got out of the car and and snuck inside even tho no one could see me. I walked by an open door in a long hallway to find alyssa on top of him. Kiamani was completely naked and seemed to me enjoying it. I walked back toward the door and seen the keys to my car on the the table i grabbed them and left in the car.

I had stopped at a light and a woman looked over and had a weird look on her face. I tben realized i wasnt able to be seen. I hurried home and got back into my body. I woke up and called jason.

"Hello" he answered sounding tired.
"Hey on second thought i will go on that date with you tomorrow, I'll call you when you can pick me up" I said really fast before hanging up.

I finally went back to bed to get real sleep. But around 5 a.m. I hear a loud car door slam. I sat up in bed and grabbed the car keys and waited for kiamani to come upstairs. He walked through the door.

"Hey Hailey" he said
"Care to explain" I said swinging the keys on my finger.

Kiamani simply stood there with a shocked look on his face. After a moment he put his hand to his face and walked over and kissed my forehead. He seen I still had a straight face and so he grabbed his pillow and the blanket at the foot of the bed and headed down stairs.

"Kiamani we are done your to get out of my house by this time next week or you can break it of with Alyssa"

He standed in the door way and nodded. I layed back down in my bed and waited to i heard him downstairs and i struggled to turn on to my stomach to burry my face and cry.

Pov - kiamani -his thoughts

She is really done with me. What am i going to do? I love her so much. I wanna spend the rest of my life with her. She will never forgive me. Maybe i should make her breakfast.

Kiamani thought about it all night. He even cried himself to sleep. The last thing on his mind was "she was out of her body and i was out of my mind. I hurt her after telling her i love her and that i wanna marry her. I would be stupid to lose her. I need to prove myself to her in the morning".
