The title means "I don't speak Japanese" in Spanish, if you are wondering.
You wandered around Nekoma, your new school. You had just transferred in the middle of your second year, because your mother wanted you to get more fluent in Japanese.
You spoke English the most fluently, followed by Spanish, then Japanese. Though your mother herself was Japanese, as were most of your ancestors.
Great job, (f/n).
So now you wandered around, unknowing of what to do or where to go, for school had just ended and you were awaiting your mother to pick you up. Sadly enough, you were lost, and couldn't find the pick up/drop off area.
What a sad life you have, (f/n).
You spotted a boy with hair that seemed to be pudding, awkwardly calling to him in Japanese. "E- Excuse me!" You say in your least fluent language. The boy looks up from his phone, and surprises you with his next words. "No hablo japonés..." He mutters. You were able to tell that he was somewhat praying that you understood him, and you did.
"¡Ay! ¡Gracias padre!" (Oh! Thank God!) you exclaimed, doing the sign of the cross. The boys face brightened slightly. "¿Hablas español?" (You speak Spanish?) he asks, a small grin plastered on his face. "Sí." (Yes) you reply, relieved that you found someone who was able to speak a language you were much more fluent at. "Estoy (f/n)." (I am (f/n) / my name is (f/n)) you smiled at him, causing the lightest tint of pink to cross his cheeks. "Kozume. Kozume Kenma." He murmured.
You peeked at his phone. "¿Qué estás jugando?" (What are you playing?) when he doesn't reply, you take a good look at his phone screen. "Love Live!!" You say in English, and he nods. "Ellos no le tiene un version español." (They don't have a Spanish version.) he frowned. "¿Qué version usas?" (What version do you use?) you question. "El version ingles." He points at some words on his phone screen.
"Oh, thank GOD!" You exclaim in English, your heart to your chest. "So you know how to speak English, right?"
"Yeah." He says, without accent. "It's my second most fluent language, close to Spanish." Your smile widened. "It's reversed for me, I speak better English than Spanish, and I'm still a lot better at English."
You two began to stroll side by side, talking to eachother, reversing from English to Spanish. You talked to him about Love Live, school, friends, clubs, etc.
"So do any of your friends play?" You asked him after he completed yet another expert song with ease. "No, just me." He said, his eyes remaining glued to the screen. "My friends are all from volleyball club. If they even are considered friends..." He said legitimately, thinking hard. "They are more like acquaintances that bug me all the time."
"KOZUME!!" You heard from behind you. You and kenma turned around. "¿Qué estás haciendo?" (What are you doing?) a dark-haired boy says in an awkward Hispanic accent.
"Aaaannd he's one of those acquaintances that bug me all the time..." He mutters, the spark in his eyes now faded. "Speaking English, I see?" The boy with the bedhead smirks, speaking in English as well. "Who's the girl?" He glances at you, the devilish smirk remaining plastered on his face. "Girlfriend?"
Kenma blushes, turning sideways. "N- no..."
"Ah, alright. C'mon. Vamonos." (Let's go) The stranger motioned kenma to him, and kenma obediently walked towards him. "¿Eh? ¿Dónde vas?" (Eh? Where are you going?) you ask. "volleyball club." He replied, waving. "Adios, (f/n). (Goodbye, (f/n)) I hope we get to talk again."
You waved the cute boy off, as well as the creepy stranger who randomly showed up.
"Yeah... I hope so too..." You say in Japanese, blushing.
