Chapter 8

Jake's POV
School has ended, walking to my locker to leave my notebook and my textbook i didnt need. Suddenly i was against the lockers. I looked up and saw Matthews with a smirk on his face. "What the f*ck do you want Matthews?" I asked "I want you to stay away from Alyssa!" He said in a calm tone. I shook my head saying 'no' but it made it worst because he threw the first punch on my face. Which i gladly responded back by punching him in the face as well. "Stay away from Alyssa, she's mine!" Why  the F*ck would he say that if he doesnt even care for anyone but himself. I then threw another puch on his lip. He was about to throw another punch at me, when we heard someone shouting our names. We turned around and saw Alyssa running towards us crying her eyes out. I immediately felt bad. Alyssa came running with her arms open, I thought the hug was for Ryder, but it wasnt, it was for me. She hugged me tightly like if she was gonna loose something very important in her life. I returned the hug as well and whispered calming words to her. She turned around to look at Ryder. Giving him a ugly glare she slapped him in the face. "I hate you Ryder, you're the worst mistake i have ever made in my whole entire life. Why the hell did i have to talk to in the first place when we met. F*ck you Ryder." She said while crying. I immediately went up to her and got her by the waist and led her to the school parking lot where my car was parked at. I feel bad for Alyssa right now. But like they say its better to let the person cry to let everything out of their system. And thats what i did. Well that sucks i didnt get to take her to get ice-cream as planned. Also i got beaten up and she got her heart broken for some jerk that wasnt worth it.
Alyssa's POV
Well today was the worst day I've had this week. I also felt bad about Jake, he got beaten up by the jerk i dont even want to mention. But i was wondering, what cause them to fight? I kept asking myself. By now my tears had dried up. And i made myself ask Jake what had happen but what if he didn't tell me. Well,  i will have to find that out for myself. "Jake, can I ask you something but please answer it." I whispered, im glad he heard me because i didnt want to talk louder. "Yeah whats up?" He said. "What happened between you two, that caused you guys to start a fight?" I said a bit worried to know the truth. He didnt respond after a couple of seconds. "Well" he started off. "He had tolled me to stay away from you.....because, you were his." He finished talking. I was now so furiously mad at Ryder for claiming me as "HIS" which i am not. I am no ones property. "Oh ok then." I said looking out my window. And with that we were now heading to my house. My mom was working late today, so i hope Jake would like to stay with me for the night.
