The first week at primary school in year five before I switched, was a new beginning. I could sense that this year, like the res, would be a great one filled with new memories and great people.  That is, until I was told about the transfer.

The first day I tried to make an effort but these kids were so different from what I knew and I had no idea how to act around them, so I just stayed quiet and kept to myself.

My first week at school was slow and tiresome. Since I was the new kid, a week into the school year, everyone looked at me like I was some sort of alien when I was called up to present myself to the class and share a fact about me.

By the end of that same week, I had made no friends and I had only talked when I was asked to, which was mainly to the teachers.

Friday night, I went home and went straight to bed. That was the worst night I had ever experienced.

The rest of that year went just as slow as the first week and when winter break came, I knew I wasn't going to last there. I knew that the years to come would be terrible.

Then, about a week or so after winter break, someone talked to me.

This person, to this day, is my best friend Abby.

Abby, at the time was this crazy ball of potential energy that was waiting to become kinetic. And she hung out with this other girl who went by Lourden. For the rest of the year I hung around with them and started to spread my wings at this foreign place.

Through the end of the year, I actually felt somewhat better, I had people to talk to and have fun with. Made some new friends like Joey and Kirsten, but little did I know how lonely the summer would be.

*Sorry for the short chapter, that was basically how the year went. Apologies for the physics terms as well, yikes! Also, feel free to rate and comment. Tell me about yourselves (:*
