It happened Once In A Blue Moon
When we talked till noon

He said I'd always be his
Who knew time would bring us to this

I looked into his magnificent eyes
And revealed all those mysterious lies

They say that if things had the power to love
Then the moon would fall in love with the sun

I loved him to the moon and back
Even more than the books that lie in my rack

As I held back my tears
Remembering all those past years

Realizing all those mistakes I made
Watching him play all those same old games

He probably never noticed
Nor will her ever, How my heart used to flutter

As he sang my favorite lullaby
In his arms, under the moonlight

Singing me to sleep,
Like a baby desperate for peace

They ask if I'd take back that time if I had the chance,
I say I probably would

But even if a thousand years pass,
And my heart still aches,

I'd still love him from time to time
Regardless of all those scars, all those tears

All those memories, all those cheers,
All those sleepless nights, all that bears

It happened Once In A Blue Moon,
That we talked until noon
