There was a heavy pounding against the floors of the gym and small shouts that cut through the otherwise silent air. The thick scent of sweat was heavy in the air and one look inside of the gym could easily see why.
A small gasp of awe escaped the lips of the girl as she stood outside and peeked inside. Her bronze fingers gripped the straps of her bag tightly as she watched the practice basketball game between Seirin and Tōō. Her large blue eyes were wide as she watched Kuroko use ignite pass to Kagami, who then dunked it, the motion seamless and effortless.
There were a couple of moments of pure skill to which she could only watch in amazement and utter admiration, but it was when Aomine caught hold of the ball that she dropped her bag and clasped her hands together, leaning forward in anticipation.
Aomine threw the basketball into the hoop formlessly, the ball acting as though it had no intention of entering the hoop, however, it entered the hoop and swished down right as the buzzer went off, signalling the end of the game. There was a few more moments of shouting before the players were dismissed from the court and they all grabbed water bottles for drinks.
The girl slowly stepped forward and began heading towards Aomine who was absentmindedly sitting on the bench. When she stopped and stood next to him she clasped her hands behind her back and tilted her head.
"Hi Onii-san."
There was a small grunt before Aomine glanced up at the girl and spit out his water. "S-sakina! What are you doing here?!" Aomine yelled, instantly leaping to his feet.
His yell alerted the others to all glance to them and stare in silence. In return she glanced from Aomine to the other boys in the room and smiled sheepishly.
"I'm sorry for interrupting you Onii-san, but you said you would help me practice basketball. I wanted to watch you so I could pick up a thing or two but you didn't tell me when practice was over so..."
"I'll teach you, I will! Just go!" Aomine exclaimed. He quickly grabbed his things and slung his bag over his shoulders before violently shoving her out of the gym.
There was a moment of silence before Kagami asked, "Aomine has a sister?"
"That was Sakina, she's Aomine's Cousin. She's only a year younger than Aomine but she really looks up to him and they're really close. Since she's an only child she likes to call him Onii-chan," Momoi explained.
"Am I the only one who didn't know this?" Kagami questioned, glancing from her to Kuroko and the rest of the team.
"If it makes you feel better, we had no idea either," Imayoshi replied.
"Aomine is really protective of her," Kuroko commented, glancing up at Kagami. "Because she's an idiot."
"huh? What does that have to do with anything?"

A yawn escaped from Aomine's lips as he bounced the basketball and tossed it to Sakina. "Aim for the hoop," he said.
Sakina bounced the ball for a bit before shooting. The basketball hit the rim of the hoop and bounced off. "Sorry," she said, running after the ball. After several failed attempts, Aomine sighed heavily and threw the basketball in the hoop. As expected, it went in with little effort.
Sakina clapped happily. " You're really amazing Onii-san!"
"Would you expect anything less?" Aomine replied, scratching the back of his head.
There was a pause as Sakina ran and grabbed the rolling basketball and picked it up. She rolled the ball in her hands for a moment before flickering her gaze to Aomine. "Onii-san," She began, turning and facing Aomine.
