-Harry's POV-
I nervously approached Juno's door. I wiped the sweat off my hands onto my shirt. I looked at my phone and read the time. 6:57. It's now or never, I guess. I raised my hand to knock on the door, let out a shaky breath, and beat my knuckles against it a few times. Juno's mom answered the door, a bright smile on her face.
"Juno!" she called into the house. I had the urge to tell her to hold on, that I'm not ready. But I didn't. I heard footsteps run down the stairs.
Juno came to the door and stood in front of her mom. My breath hitched as I ran my eyes over her outfit. She was wearing a black dress that hugged her curves perfectly, curves she always hid until now. Her light brown hair was straightened and pulled over one shoulder. Her black heels made her taller, not as tall as me, but they made her legs look like the went on forever. Her makeup made her dark blue eyes stand out.
"Do I look okay?" she nervously pulled on the ends of ends of her dress, trying to pull it down and cover up, but she didn't need to. The dress wasn't even that short, she's just to shy.
"You look... wow," I breathed. I was speechless. Her beauty was undescribable.
"I look terrible, I'll be right back," she turned to go back into the house, but I caught her wrist.
"You are so beautiful. I feel so lucky to be the one that gets to take you out tonight," I said honestly. It felt unreal that someone as beautiful as her would go out with me. She blushed and mumbled thank you. "C'mon love," I hooked her arm through mine and led her to my car. I opened the door for her and she easily slid in, then I jogged around the front to my side. I was anxious as we drove. I didn't know if she would like what I had planned, but I really hope so.
-Juno's POV-
I sat and fiddled with my fingers nervously as Harry drove to an unknown destination. I knew sometime tonight I was going to mess up and embarrass myself somehow. It always happens. Not like I always go on dates. My last date was freshman year. How lame is that?
We came to a stop at a red light, and Harry reached over and tied a bandana over my eyes. "Uh, Harry?" I said nervously. I trust Harry. I mean if he was a rapist or a murder he wouldn't have beat the shit out of those guys. Unless he just wanted to do it himself. No, Harry wouldn't do that. Right? Of course not. But what if- Stop, Juno, you're being stupid. Yeah, I'm being stupid by arguing with myself.
After what seemed like endless driving, we finally came to a stop. "Okay, now I'm going to put you on my lap. Don't freak out okay?" Harry said. I felt his hands lightly come into contact with my waist.
"Uh, alright," I said, unsure. He picked me up and set me on his lap. My heart sped up with his closeness, like it always did. He pulled the blindfold off my face. We were still in his car, but I was looking out the drivers side. We were on the old racetrack, which was lit up so we could see in the dark.
"You know how to drive right?"
"You're going to let me drive?!" I said excited. I could almost jump in my seat, but Harry's my seat right now so that probably wouldn't be a very good idea.
"Yeah, but this is my baby so don't go crazy." I rolled my eyes. Boys and their cars. I changed gears and pressed down on the petal. I went faster the more we went down the track.
"Woooooooooooooo! This is fucking awesome!" I yelled as I sped up even more. I felt so alive as adreniline pumped through my veins. I laughed at the bubbly feeling inside me. Harry's chest vibrated as he chuckled.
"That's not even the best part."
"There's more?" I gasped, but still paid very close attention to the track.
"Here," Harry took the wheel in his hands, manuerving around me. We drove into an underground garage, where many beautiful cars were sitting, practically begging to be admired and driven. "Go pick one out."
"Any of them?"
"Whatever you want," I quickly opened the door and fell onto the concrete. "Oh god, are you okay?" Harry asked. I was to excited to feel the least bit of pain, though.
"I'm amazing!" I exclaimed as I hopped up and began admiring all of the cars. "She's beautiful," I breathed as I came across a black Lamborguini with silver racing stripes. "This one!" I told Harry, and he chuckled.
"Catch," he tossed me a pair of keys and suprisingly I caught them effortlessly. "Get in and I'll race you," he challenged.
"Get ready to eat my dust, Styles!"
"Oh, bring it!" I slid in the car and turned the key in the ignition. A rush of energy ran through my body as the engine roared to life and turned into a steady purr. Harry got back in his Audi and we drove to the starting line. Harry revved the engine and I rolled my eyes. I quickly kicked off my heels to make driving easier. He held up three fingers, slowly lowering each one to signal when to go. I didn't even let him get to two before I took off, laughing.
"Yes, I win!" I said through the rolled down window when we both stopped.
"You cheated!"
"I did no such thing," I scoffed and did a dramatic hair flip.
"Rematch!"
"Fine!"
I can't tell you how many hours we spent on that track, driving each car, racing, and occaisonally we would just drive slow and talk. It was the best date I've ever been on. Harry and I knew a little bit more about each other, and we certainly felt more comfortable around each other. He walked me up to my front door, and it was quiet until he spoke up.
"I had fun," he said and smiled cheekily, dimples exposed.
"Me too," I returned a smile.
"We should do that again sometime."
"Yeah, we should," I agreed. I nervously picked at my heels that I was holding.
"So, I'll see you tommarrow," he took a couple steps off the porch, not taking his eyes off me.
"Okay," I nodded. He smiled one last time before walking away. He can't just leave like that. My heart rate accelerated at the thought of what I was about to do. It's do or die moment. I dropped my heels and jogged down the sidewalk. "Harry!" I called. The moment he flipped around I planted my lips on his. Goosebumps shot up across my skin. As soon as he recovered from the shock he put his hands on the sides of my face and moved his lips against mine. I put my arms around his neck.
We pulled away after a few long moments. Harry slowly opened his eyes and grinned. "I'll definitely see you tomarrow," he whispered roughly.
"Don't miss me to much," I smirked as I pulled my arms off his neck and walked towards my house.
"I'll try, but it won't be easy," he said. I gave him one last smile over my shoulder before walking into the house and closing the door.
"Where the hell have you been young lady?" My mom scolded as soon as I closed the door.
"With Harry," I said in a 'duh' tone.
"Until one o'clock in the morning?"
"Chill out, Mom," I rolled my eyes and headed for the stairs, but she followed me.
"What am I supposed to think when my daughter comes home at this hour with her hair and dress all messed up? And what's that smell?"
"What smell? Mom, we were driving at the track all night. That's it. Besides, I'm eighteen. I can do whatever I want. And don't give me all that 'not while your under my roof' bullshit. Cos I really don't want to hear it."
"Don't use that tone with me, young lady."
"I'm going to bed. Goodnight," I said and slammed my door shut. My mom said a stream of curse words before I heard her stomp away. I peeled my dress off and slipped on warm pjs, instantly feeling better. I pulled my hair up and slid into bed, where I fell asleep thinking of Harry. I'm so cheesy.
