Author's note: Aaah! Teachers and homework will be the end of me. I'd rather have all the vampires suck on my blood than homework. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this! Asami's POV
I collapsed on my bed. Today was rough. Is this how school is supposed to be? Meeting new people and getting interrupted while eating lunch? I got up and looked in my bag of infinite stuff. I got dressed in (photo of clothes up top). I headed downstairs. I looked at Shu sleeping on the couch. I decided to move my way towards him.
"Hey Shu!" I said excitedly.
He ignored me. His headphones were on. Darn, those headphones! I tried to poke his side. He caught my wrist. Shu turned to look at me and firmly said, "Don't."
"What music are you listening to?" I asked curiously.
"Does it matter?"
"Yes."
He sighed and effortlessly pulled a bud out and held it out for me. I took it. I had a look of surprise on my face. He was listening to my favorite song. I was surprised because not many people know this song. It's 'Where Is My Mind' by the Pixies, a fantastic, heartwarming piano piece. The actual song is more tense. I love the piano piece better than the actual.

"I love this song." I said to Shu.

"Oh, you know this song? Many people don't or they listen to the rock music type." He said plainly.

I nodded my head at him. I moved closer towards him, so that the earpiece doesn't fall out. More likely to have an excuse to move closer to him. I turn my head to see Shu looking at me intensely. His scent was strong and made me relax a little. His dark eyes stared straight through me.

"You're not lying are you?" I shook my head no.

"It's called 'Where Is My Mind' by the Pixies." Shu smiled softly and moved a bit closer than before.

We both turn towards each other. Our noses were now touching. If one of us moved closer, we would kiss. I wanted to suck on his neck. He probably wanted to suck on mine. I looked into his eyes. He looked back. Suddenly, someone cleared their throat. Shu and I looked at the person who invaded our special time together.

"Ahem, Asami, we should have our tea party now." Kanato interrupted.

"Of course." I said, trying to hide the annoyance in my voice.

I walked to where Kanato was heading. Sure enough, there was a round table with a white tablecloth on it. It had a teacup set on it. White wooden chairs around the table. On the chairs were Teddy, Sammy, Mr. Narwhal, and Ms. Tea bunny. Two unoccupied white chairs were next to Sammy and Teddy. Kanato slid the chair out. I sat down in it. He sat down in the other. I smiled genuinely. He poured tea for me and the others. I took a the tea cup and raised it with my pinkie out. I sipped from it. It was good green tea.

"How is it?" Kanato asked.

"It's good." I said calmly.

"Good. Anyway so what did Azusa and you do?" Kanato questioned.

"Oh nothing really." I said.

"Tell me." Kanato pressed.

"It was nothing." I said reassuringly.

"Damn you! Don't lie to me! What did he do?!" Kanato burst out loud.

"I'm not comfortable telling you." I shot at him.

Kanato screamed and flipped the table over. He breathed heavily and said,"Get Out."

I hurriedly got out of there. Whoo! That was a close one.

Kanato's POV
I will get her to tell me. She can't run away forever. One day, she'll be mine. I don't care who I have to kill in order to get her. I will have her. But first, I have to visit my mother. I took Teddy off the chair and made my way to her grave.

"Mother, I've come." I said in the graveyard.

I smirked. I'm glad I was the one to kill her. I took Yui with me to bring flowers from the garden.

"Place it on her headstone." I commanded her.

"I'm sorry." Yui said.

She started to walk away from the graveyard.
"I know it's you mother," Kanato said.
"I've known ever since you came here. Yui is so delicate. I could recognize your use of language anywhere."

"Well, well, looks like someone found out. What are you going to do?" Yui taunted.

"Nothing." Kanato said. "Not until it's of use."

Kanato smiled evilly.

"You can't do anything unless I tell you to. Capish?" Kanato ordered.

She nodded solemnly.

"This is going to be fun." Kanato stated.

Asami's POV
I walked towards Subaru in the game room. It had the dart game and pool. He was playing darts by himself.

"Hi, do you need someone to play with?" I greeted.

"Hey and no." Subaru scoffed. "Girls can't play darts."

"Excuse me?!" I took a dart from his hand. I narrowed my eyes at him and shot the dart without looking. It hit a bullseye. Subaru looked at the dart and back at me.

"Impressive." He admitted. "But I bet you can't beat me."

We started to compete who would get the most points. We were head to head. Laito joined us and kept score. I loved arguing with Subaru. It was so cute, leaving him flustered. Subaru and I played a game of darts until Reiji called us for dinner. Laito used his super speed to get there first. That left me alone with Subaru.

As I walked toward the door, I noticed Subaru wasn't following me. I turned around as my hair flipped over my shoulder and out of my face. I said to him, "You coming?"

"Yeah, I just got to go do something. I'll be there in a minute."

I stared at him for a few seconds, and my heart beat faster with each and every second. I quickly turned around and walked out the door. As soon as I did, I sped up down the hall and as I was out of earshot, I sprinted to the dining room. I touched my heart and felt it slow down. I halted to a stop. 'What was that?'

Subaru's POV

As soon as she was out of earshot, I slammed my fist into the wall. I kept hitting it until I calmed down. 'Damn, why was my heart beating so fast?'
