"what's your name,sweety?" I asked.
"Nola"
"Nola,it's time for your nap!!" Carin said.
Nola wriggled out of my grip and ran to her room.
"what was that?" I asked.
"We adopted her.She refuses to call us mom and dad!" Scooter said.
"and since Justin played with her all the time she started calling him dad.She used to ask us who her mommy is and we told her that her mommy is on a long trip and will come very soon" Carin said.
I didn't say anything.I was lied to about my parents when I was small so I know what that little girl was going through.
"so could you be her mommy until she's old enough to tell the truth?" Scooter asked.
"heck,yeah!!" I said.
"woah! you're different.I asked Selena for that but she said no" Justin said.
"I've gone through the same thing." I said.
"what do you mean?" Justin asked.
"when I was small no one told me who my parents are or where they were so I thought that they went on a very long trip leaving me" I explained.
Everyone gave me that I-am-sorry-look.I hated it.
"so Christian would you mind showing Melody around the place?" Scooter asked.
"why him,we could show her around and by the way,nice name" Ryan said.
"no thank you,I think a kid can do a better job than a jerk" I said.I looked at Christian who got the hint and dragged me upstairs.
"why did you do that?" he asked me.
"do what?" I asked.
"snap at Ryan,now he'll make your life a living hell" he said.
I rolled my eyes "I'd like to see him try"
Christian sighed and showed me around.
"and this is your room" he finally said.
"cool room" I said examing it.
Christian smiled and plopped on the bed.I examined everywhere.
Suddenly I heard footsteps comming up.
"uh-oh" Christian said.
"wha-" I wasn't allowed to finish the sentence when Ryan burst into the room.
"ever heard of knocking?" I asked.
"oh,so now you're talking to me?" he snapped.
"yes I talk to people when I want to eventhough you don't deserve it" I snapped.
"ooooh" Christian said.
"stay out of this" ryan snapped at him.
"hey,hey. you got something to tell then tell it to me without snapping at the kid" I took Christian's side.
"yeah,Ryan leave her alone" a gir's voice said
