Elliot looked towards the building in front of her conflicted, thinking of her options. She could enter the school acting like nothing happened, and help Scott with whatever he planned to do with the demon invasion in California. Or, she could turn back around and go with her father and uncles to check the surrounding towns to find out what Crowley's next move was.

She chose option B.

She quickly turned and sped walked to her mustang, but an arm grabbed her and turned her around, causing her to scowl as he led her back to school.

"I hate you," she murmured to the boy. He just smiled, wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

"No, you don't," Stiles stated smugly as they entered the building.

"Why do I have to be here?" she whined.

"Because you came here for a normal life, and that's what you are going to pretend you have. Your father and uncles got this. They'll call us when they have something," Stiles told her encouragingly.

Elliot gave him a glare, causing his confidence to falter slightly.

"A-And also because I'm your best-friend and you love me?" he said more as a question. Elliot sighed, letting him drag her to class.

"You know, I can shoot you?"

"But you won't."

"Why wouldn't I?"

"Be-Because you love me?"

Elliot sighed as she walked into science, knowing she couldn't avoid Scott in this class, seeing as they were lab partners.

She sat down, keeping her head in her textbook to avoid the boy's gaze on her. Scott went to speak to her, but the bell rang, signaling the start of class.

Soon, the lesson ended and the bell rang, all the students packing up their stuff. That's when the teacher spoke up.

"Now remember, your project is due, Friday, which is in four days. You will have to have your board ready, along with your informative essays and presentation. If you haven't gotten it done yet, I suggest you finish quickly."

Elly froze, realizing her and Scott never finished their project. She slowly turned to face Scott, who was smiling at her sheepishly, and awkwardly.

"So, my place or yours?"

Elly entered Scott's bedroom awkwardly, the boy following her and quickly closing the door, setting his stuff down on his desk.

"Um, I wasn't really expecting company," Scott stuttered as he rushed around his room, picking up stray things and putting them away. Elliot smiled slightly.

"It's fine. Let's just get this done," she said quickly, sitting down on his bed and opening up her backpack. Scott nodded sheepishly.

"Yeah, right."

They had already finished the research and essay, they just needed to finish the board. As Elliot was sketching a picture of a wolf on the board for the picture, Scott stood behind her, fiddling with paint brushes in his hands, contemplating on what to say.
