A better day part 1

batters pov:
I woke up with (y/n) in my arms, I smiled at this and closed my eyes , lightly nuzzling my head against (y/n)'s head.
"Hm..."
I open my eyes again to see (y/n) slowly waking up.
"(Y/n) come on it's time to get up."
"Noooo..."
I chuckled at how cute she was being...wait....why do I think she is cute!?.
I blushed slightly and decided to get up.
"Come on get up." I said pulling the covers OFF of (y/n).
"Nuuuuu."
(Y/n) tried pulling the covers back but I had them all already.
"Fine...I'll get up."
(Y/n) got up and went into the bathroom.
"I am gonna take a shower! Don't break anything while I am gone, okay?"
"Okay"
When I heard the door close ,I went down stairs to make something for
(Y/n).
"Hmm."
I looked around the cabinets but didn't really see anything I recognized as food.
"Ah found something."
I pulled out a box of cereal, it's more colorful then I remembered

Your pov
I finally was done getting dressed and did what ever I needed to be ready for the day till i smelled something that smells like it's burning.
What's that smell coming from?
I then remembered that I left batter with most of the house to him self and has no idea about about how everything works.
"Oh no"
I run out of the room and practically flew down stairs then ending up into the kitchen to were the smoke was.
"Why is there smoke?!"
I look to see what was batter looking defeated with a bowl of burnt cereal.
"I tried to make some thing for you but I ended up burning the cereal."

I tried holding in a laugh
"How did you burn cereal?"
Batter just shrugged
"What were you trying to make cereal for?"
"For you."
"Awe batter you didn't have to make cereal for me."
"But I wanted too."
I smiled at the batter and hugged him
"I'll make something but next time please tell me when your gonna make food."
Batter nodded
"Sorry."
"It's fine" I ruffled batters hair and walked to the cabinets to get the ingredients to make pancakes

-------time skip because I am lazy-------
Me and batter ate after that we weren't sure what to do.
I looked up on the Internet to see what was fun to do that was near by, it took a while but I luckily found that a carnival is in town.
"Hey batter want to go to the carnival?"
"Sure, if you are going"
"Yay! Let's go then."
I grabbed batters hand and dragged him with me out the front door aaaaand of course locking it before I leave. Since I was running and holding onto batters hand it was a bit hard for him to run because my height was a bit smaller then his, I pretty much shoved batter into the car and went onto the drivers side and sat down.
"You ready?"
I looked at batter who was tangled up in his seat belt again.
"Yep."
