Twins? (Soul eater fanfiction)

~Maka's POV~

I pick up my bag and walked out of Death Starbucks. It started to rain so I put up my hood. I have been avoiding people for a couple days, I could feel the black blood starting to take over me, I don't know if I should tell anyone. I don't want anyone getting hurt because of me.

I was deep in thought when she ran into something. I shook my head, regaining focuse, and saw a boy around my age standing in front of me.

"I'm so sorry. Are you alright?" I ask looking at the boy curiously, he looks a lot like me, I thought as the boy laughed slightly.

"Yeah..." He said smiling. "Good..." I decide to take a look at his soul, to my surprise the boys soul was the same size as mine and he had black blood just like me.

"Why are you looking at my soul?" He says leaning in close to her. I back away from him. "H-how did you know?! And who are you?!" He just smiled in responds. We stared at each other for a couple of minutes in silence. "Well I should be going now." He took of running.

"Hey! Wait!" I run after the boy until I lose sight of the boy. I sigh, finally realizing its pouring out and I am soaking wet. I start to walk towards my apartment still wondering who he was.

I stop walking and looks around for a place to take shelter, the rain was coming down even harder now. I raise my hand to my mouth as I started to cough. As I coughed it felt like something was crawling up my neck.

I fell to the ground as it got harder and harder to breath. I drop my hands to my side as black blood started to come out of my mouth. After the black blood stopped coming out of my mouth, I lean against a brick wall, trying to regain my breath. 'This can't be happening. Why is the black blood taking over so fast?'

I was in mid-thought when a sharp pain in her head. I grip my head. 'Dammit. The black blood is taking over.' I look up slightly to see a person walking towards me. I slowly start to stand up, still gripping my head.

I squints my eyes trying to see who it is. As the person comes into view, my eyes widen. "H-hey you're the boy from before...!" I said as I watch the boy smile at me.

I feel another sharp pain in my head and grips my head tighter. I blink my eyes a couple times as my vision starts to get blurry. 'This isn't good...'

I feel myself slowly starting to fall forward, when the boy walked towards me and catches me, before I could fall. I looks up at the boy as he looks down at me, smiling. I close my eyes all the way and ever thing goes dark.
