Finding Maka. Part 1

Souls POV~

I walk over to the gang, who is about to walk into the academy. I'm worried about Maka she didn't come home last night. I hope she is alright. "Hey guys, wait up!" I say as catching up with them. They all turn around to face me, slightly confused until they see me.

"Oi, Soul! What's up?" Black Star nearly yells. I smile slightly. "Nothing really. But I have a question.... Did any of you see Maka today, or yesterday after school?" The exchange glances and shake their head. I sigh, they all look at me slightly confused.

"Did something happen to Maka?" Liz ask me worried. I shake my head up and down slowly. "Yeah... I think so... Maka didn't come home last night." They all look at me worried. "But that doesn't mean something bad happened to her. She might of just slept in an inn for the night cause of the storm." Tsubaki said in her usually soft and quiet voice.

"But it's strange that she isn't here at the academy, she always here on time." Liz said looking at Tsubaki. "Also is it only me or does seem like Maka's been trying to avoid us?" Liz says as Patti nods in agreement.

"I think Maka's changed.... I think she isn't the old Maka anymore...." Patti said with no smile on her face for once. I sigh. "Yeah I agree with Patti.... Over the past days it seems like Maka's been changing. She isn't her old self anymore..." Everyone nods in agreement.

"Let's go look for Maka." Kid says throwing his bag over his shoulder. "What about class?" Tsubaki says quietly. Black star starts to laugh. "Who needs class! Lets go look for Maka!" With that he runs off. We all sigh as we watch Black Star runs off. "Wait! I remember where Maka was heading after school, Death Star Bucks. Lets go look there to see what time she left." I say, slightly excited.

They all nod and start running towards Death Star Bucks, hoping to find a clue to where Maka is.

Stein POV~

I roll my chair into the class holding my clipboard up, ready to take attendance. I check names off as I roll by the students. I stop my chair to see seven spots empty. The whole class was her besides, Maka, Soul, Black star, Tsubaki, Kid, Liz, and Patti. I sigh. 'They better be on an important mission, or else they will be facing punishment.'

"Alright class, lets begin." An insane grin comes across my face. "Today we will be doing a dissection." The whole class sighed as I started to prepare for the dissection.

~After class~

I watch as all the kids stand up from their seats and walk out of the room. Once they are all gone I clean up my mess that is left over from the dissection. I sigh as I sit back down in my chair and roll my chair out of the class room, luckily not tipping over in my chair. I roll my chair towards the death room going to ask Lord Death if he has the seven of them on a mission.

I get off my chair and walk the long hall way to where Lord Death is. As I reach the end of the hall way, I see Lord Death having tea with Sid. I sigh. "I hope I haven't interrupted you, Lord Death... Sid..." They both turn their attention towards me as I walk towards them. "No not at all..." Sid says setting down his tea and standing up. "Do you need something Stein?" Lord Death says in his usually goofy voice."

"Actually yes... I have a question, did you send Maka, Soul, Kid, Liz, Patti, and Black Star, and Tsubaki on a mission, today?" Lord Death and Sid exchange glances and shake their head. "No I haven't... Did they not come to class today?" Lord Death says and I nod in responds. "Let's see if I can find them in my mirror." He floats over to his mirror and writes something on it and Tsubaki, Kid, Soul, Liz, and Patti, pop up on the mirror.

"This is strange indeed, they seem to be looking for Maka... I wonder if something happened to her... But where is Black Star?" Lord Death says watching them run, screaming Maka's name. "That idiot probably ran off before they decided on anything." Sid says looking at the mirror. "Can you see if you can find Maka?" I ask walking over to the mirror. Lord Death writes something else on the mirror and Maka pops up on the mirror.

"Wait something's not right, she isn't moving. But it does look like someone is taking care of her." Sid says looking closer at Maka. "And if I could say so myself, it looks like she is covered in black blood..." Sid says looking at us. "What?!" I say looking closer at Maka, to see her cloths were covered in black blood.

"This isn't good... We have to find her before anything gets worse... I could tell that the black blood was taking over her, but I didn't think it was taking over this fast... But what I don't get is why she didn't tell any of us..." I say looking at Lord Death worried. He sighs. "Yes we do have to find her before anything bad happens... Lets see where she is...." Lord Deaths says as he looks for the location of Maka.

"Hm... It looks like she is in an abandoned factory two blocks away from Death Star Bucks... And it's looks like that's where the others are heading right now..." Lord death looks at Sid. "Sid, I want you to grab Nygus and have you, Nygus, and Stein go meet up with others and bring back Maka and who ever is taking care of her." We both nod and walk out of the Death room.
