Sometimes, I would look up at the sky, and thought I saw the universe. In all its glory, in all its pain, in all its sorrow, and in all its beauty. But now, I look up at the sky, and all I see, are possibilities.

I once saw a clockwork man with a clockwork heart. He was constantly ticking. But what everyone didn't know, was that the ticking, was the beat of the universe.

The iron girl. As heard as rock, yet she shattered easily. The iron girl with the crystal heart. Always broken on the inside, with no way to fix herself.

When people stare out at the ocean, all they see is water. I see the wind, tossed upon cloudy seas. The sunset, painting a river of gold. On a rainy day, as strong winds and rain batter the waves, and lightning strikes upon the surface, I see beauty, in its purest form.

Tell me something. The universe has always had a beat. But who started that beat? The eternal ticking, the beat of the heartbeat. Was it a god? Was it the universe itself? Or did we, the humans, start the beat of our universe?

These are things that I've been thinking about for the past week or so. They're not related in any way. But I just decided to put them all in one chapter instead of splitting them up. Oh and this chapter is dedicated to

Chase1009 ;)
