Chapter 5 pt 2

2 minutes left till the bell rang for dismissal, Skylar had been thinking about the text from her dad all day and has been very nervous for what was about to come after school.
1 minute. Skylar kept looking at the clock every couple of seconds hoping time would go slower but unfortunately she knew that would never happen. 30 seconds. Skylar was trying to calm her self down saying everything will be alright. 15 seconds. Trying to keep calm was now out of the question, she found herself more nervous then before. 5 seconds. She knew in just a couple seconds she would walk outside wait for someone to pick her up, go home and have a talk with her dad. 0 seconds. Times up. The dismissal bell rang and all the kids rushed to their lockers to get their things and rushed out of the building, after all it was Friday. Skylar started to walk towards the front of the school to the doors, she knew what was to come and she couldn't have been more nervous in her life, she was now outside waiting for her ride which was usually one of the boys who picked her up unfortunately they were never late. After about 3 minutes of waiting she seen that familiar black car pull up in front of her, she opened the door and sat in the seat. Tyler had been the one to pick her, he turned to her and gave her a smile

" How was your day " he asked, she hesitated for a second but replied with " it was fine " after that they both sat back in silence, the radio which was playing She's Kinda Hot by 5 Seconds of Summer was the only sound in the car. After a couple of minutes they were about halfway home Skylar asked " Is my dad mad " Tyler knew what she was talking about he was there when Jason got the text saying what was going on with her, normally he never got a text about Skylar and he was surprised to see it was from one of his men who attend the same school as Skylar and kept an eye on her, she never knew though, she never even felt the slightest bit uncomfortable when he would watch her she never noticed.

" I would be lying if I said he wasn't, but I think he has calmed down a bit

They pulled into the driveway and got out of the car, Skylar thought to herself here we go, as soon as they walked in Jason was waiting by the stairs " Skylar " he said and made a gesture to the stairs, Tyler gave her a quick look saying good luck. She walked up the stairs Jason following behind, they both entered his office where they took a seat.

" As I said earlier, who's the boy " Jason asked

" Dad he's a new kid he just got there today and the office asked me to show him around and he sat with us at lunch, that's all "

" That's all? Then why were you guys so close together at some point of they day " Sam who was the kid that goes to the same school as Skylar took a picture and sent it to Jason.

Skylar had to think back to during the day, when we were close together? she thought to herself and they it came to her when he was staring at me and I had pretty eyes. As she was about to make up a lie she then got confused " How did you know there was a boy and how did you know we were close together " she asked him. Jason knew she didn't know about Sam but he knew there would be a time where he would have to tell her about him " It doesn't matter how I knew the problem is that you were with a boy when I told you no boys " he said avoiding the question " answer my question " Skylar said with a serious tone in her voice, Jason sighed " I have one of my men watching you he goes to the same school and he's 16, he's name is Sam " He has someone watching me? She thought to herself she then grew angry " why do you have someone watching me, do you not trust me! " she asked her voice raised and full of anger.

" I do trust you, I just don't trust other people. Do you know how dangerous it is for you out there? People are trying to go after you because your my daughter and because of that I have to have eyes on you 24/7 if I didn't something could happen to you when I'm not there and I'm not gonna let that happen. I already lost your mom I'm not gonna let that happen to you. What if that new kid is part of another gang and he's planning on taking you from me? You wouldn't know and I wouldn't know because if I didn't have eyes on you that's what would happen, you would get hurt or kidnapped. It's for your safety, so I know your safe during school and don't have to worry as much about someone trying to come after you when I'm not there, that's why I have someone watching you Skylar Bri McCann. " Jason said he's voice raised and full of anger, Skylar took in what he said.

" I didn't ask for this, I didn't ask to live this life but you caused this it's your fault, if you weren't the leader of the biggest gang in the world we wouldn't have this problem now would we? No you wouldn't have to have someone watching me 24/7 "

Skylar screamed at her dad she then got up from the seat and ran out of the office and to her room slamming the door. Jason was raged by what she said but he was also hurt, it's his fault for losing the mother of his daughter and having to have his daughter live in fear with eyes always on her. It's his fault.
