Unloved

I've lived though hell and I never could forget that year before I moved to Florida... My name is Rachel Regan I was 15 years old and it was almost my 16th birthday that is when it all started. I lived with my dad and younger sister Kate she was 13, my brother went to college at Stanford his name was Nate. My mother and I were walking around the beach looking at the beautiful waves the sand in my hair it was the most perfect day. My mom said "Honey let's take a swim its a beautiful day why not enjoy it?" I looked back at the sky glad my boyfriend, Jake would be staying with us before we start school again. I was so happy, "Mom u go in I'll stay here," "You sure honey I don't want to leave u alone." "I'm fine promise." She was a little girl happy and excited! And then I heard a scream... "MOM! MOM! Where r u! I run to the water and find her. "Mom no don't go mom-" "I love u honey say strong!" Those were the last words I heard from my mother. All I can remember are waves crashing screaming and a shark that hurt my life and my mothers forever...

3 months later

Jake finally is coming I'm so excited after moms death there was no life in the house of Regans. I calm Kate down every night scaring the bad dreams away from her pretty little mind.

"Jake how are you?"

"Look Rachel we need to talk."

"Ok let's talk."

"Not in here Rachel it needs to be outside NOW!"

"Ok Ok."

As we walk outside he has a stern look on his face like he is ready to throw the football to the goal, here in Las Angeles everything has been a little sad but it's my home so I've learned to have fun.

"What's up Jake woke up on the wrong side of the bed?"

"Why ARE YOU SO HAPPY QUIT IT RACHEL!" He slapped me right across the face.I felt it the pain of the stinging the tears holding in I clutched my face in horror, breathing so hard I couldn't think straight lost in thought of why and how and some how I spit out, "JAKE WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM YOU JUST SLAPPED ME!!!!!!"

"Look Rachel I'm sorry but I'm not staying and I'm not your BOYFRIEND ANYMORE!!!" I froze did he just break up with me? I feel dizzy.

"What?"

"Ever since your mom died you have been no fun and I need an fun girl!"

Well if your MOM died would you BE DANCING around forgetting about her!"

"Look Rachel this is goodbye."

"Jake NEVER come BACK EVER!!! I HATE YOU!!!!!" I run inside and slam the door on his face.

"Sis it will be ok ill take care of you."

"Rachel honey what did that STUPID Jake do to my beautiful daughter."

"Nothing dad I swear don't hurt him it will make things worse!"

"Honey whatever he did u can tell-"

"He made fun of moms death!"

"How could he that little son of a -"

"Dad no language!"

"Oh I'm sorry Kate you know I never trusted him right Rachel?"

"I know dad I messed up."

"Go to bed its late both of you."
