Chapter 7: Death Note

Light's POV

"Light get up and get ready you have night classes remember," said a woman.

"I know, I am up mom," I exclaimed.

I grabbed the death note and put it in my backpack.

"Light?" Ryuk said.

"What do you want?" I asked back.

"Tell Misa that we won't be here for a while," Ryuk said.

"Why?" I questioned.

I then got no response from Ryuk, so I grabbed the phone and called Misa.

"Hello?" a woman said.

"Hey Misa I won't be here in a while like a few weeks okay. So don't come over because I have to go some where, but you can't come." I stated.

Misa took at least 30 seconds to process it all and said, "Okay see you in a few weeks then Light."

I hanged up the phone and left the house and headed towards school.

At School

"Okay class blah blah blah..." was all I heard the teacher say.

I just looked out the window and waited for class to end not paying attention what so ever. (Don't do that always pay attention in class.)

Class is over and Light is walking back home

"Hey Light the other shinigami's wanted me to take you to Mystic Falls which is a town not to far from here. Also if you are wondering we have to go because the Slayer family wants us. The Slayer family is a Mafia family and they can kill us all, so we must obey them if we don't want to die," Ryuk said.

I simply just nodded and realized that we were already at the house.

I went in and said, "Mom I won't be home in a few weeks I am going some where with a friend."

I then looked at her and she just nodded yes. I went upstairs and started to pack, but I only packed light.

After I finished packing I went out the door and started walking to the train.

In the train

"Hey Ryuk you said this place was close. So how long does it take to get there?" I asked.

"It should be about 20 minutes away," Ryuk said.

20 minutes later and off the train at Mystic Falls

"Mr. Light Yagami?" A voice from my far right said.

I looked towards the voice and saw a man in a black tux, white button top t-shirt with a black vest on, and a purple toe.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"My name is Lloyd Lee. Nice to meet you Mr. Yagami. May I touch the book?" The so called Lloyd asked.

I took out the death note and let him touch it.

"So once more how do you know me and who are you?" I questioned.

"I work for the Slayer's. They tell us everything about you and they tell us why the have chosen you to help them. Also you must be Ryuk," Lloyd said looking at my shinigami Ryuk.

"Yes I am Ryuk and I am guessing the Slayer's have told you about me." Ryuk said.

"Yes you are correct they have also told me about you, but any ways enough chit chat. Inside the limo please," Lloyd said opening the door making a hand movement signaling us to go inside.

We got insode and after a while we saw something that looked like the bank and I said, "pull over."

The car stopped and I ran out towards the bank. When I got closer I got a better view of the bank and that there were people fighting.

Then I heard some women say "Who are you?"

"I am..."
