Years have passed.
5 years to be exact.
Jackson was now 14, while you were 12.
Currently, it was night, and time for you both to be sleeping.
But instead for Jack to be sleeping, he was wide awake.
And you?
You were sleeping like a rock.
Jack looked out the small window that was very high on the wall, impossible to reach.
The moon could be seen from the window, slightly lightening up the room.
Jack turned his head to the red light on the corner of the ceiling.
The camera turned from side to side, repeating the same action every 5 seconds.
Jack huffed and looked at the small drawer.
Maybe...
Jack lifted his cover off of him and went over to you.
He knew he should let you sleep, but this could be it.
He lightly shook you, making you groan and turn around.

"Noo...Five more minutes, mom."

Jack pushed you off the bed, making you shriek when hitting the ground.
You scrambled back up, glaring at the brunette.

"What gives?!"

Jack threw his thumb over his shoulder.

"Let's bounce."

You cocked your head to the side.

"Escape? Out...Outside...?" You whispered.

"(Y/n), it's been many years. I'm more than tired of being here. I know we tried to escape many times, but this is it! I can feel it."

Your ears dropped low as you sat on your knees, on your bed.
Your tail was on your lap, as you lightly stroked it while thinking.

"We'll be in trouble again." You whispered, glancing over to the camera.

"I'll take the blame. Now, come on. Do you trust me?"

Jack stuck out his hand with a smile.
You eyed him for a few seconds before letting a sigh of defeat.
You gave a worried smile and grabbed his hand.

"I trust you."

Jack smiled as you stood up from the bed.

"We'll escape together. Let's go, I have a plan."

Jack pulled you along with him, to a blind spot from the camera.
He told you his plan, explaining every single detail.
You gave a nod of confidence and went to it.
You crawled over to the drawer and pushed it to where you guessed the window was.
You climbed onto it and motioned Jack to come.
He followed.

"Okay, so, you'll go up first so you can pull me up."

"But I'm taller than you."

"And you're stronger than me! Now, get on my shoulders and climb."

Jack sighed and climbed onto your shoulders.
You trembled as you lifted yourself up slowly, wobbling a bit.

"Almost there. Come on, (Y/n)!"

You pushed yourself further up, hearing a 'Click!' coming from above.

"I-...I got it!"

You grunted before you slipped and fell down, making the drawer and Jack both crash.
Jack groaned and lifted himself up.

"Are you...Okay...?"

You were about to respond until you heard the door unlock.
You tensed up and froze, your tail standing up right.

"That's the last drop! Take her!"

You felt yourself being lifted up forcefully by the arms.
You felt tears rushing down your face as you kicked and cried.

"W-Wait! No, please! I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" You cried as you struggled even more.

"Wait, WAIT! It's my fault, not hers! It isn't fair if she takes the blame! It was my idea!" Jack shouted.

The guards stopped and looked at the Doctor.
The Doctor had his arms behind his back as he pondered for a bit.

"Hm, very well. Take him instead."

The guards placed you down as you stared at Jack.
The guards picked the brunette up with force, dragging him to the door.
Jack glanced at you with his blue eyes for the last time with a smile, as he mouthed,

'It's going to be okay.'

The door closed and became locked.
Everything was silent.
Little did you know,

That was the last time you'd ever see those blue eyes again.
