Chapter One:
New things to know on day one
Marion was sitting in English during free write. Yet he didn't know what he was going to write about. It was the first period of the day, and he drew a blank. There was so much he could write about on the first day. He was sitting by a complete stranger and yet he didn't know that they were going to be best friends someday.
Well he kinda did know, let me tell you the story. Marion's real name was Ellon Powell. He has crazy mind powers. He could tell what was going to happen future. He also had some sort of electric power. He could shoot electricity from his palms. He never knew there were people like him. He knew that the boy next to him was going to be his friend, but he didn't know he had "powers" too. They would eventually create a club for kids like them. Soon many people would join.
He met a girl later that day walking through the gym while she was at cheerleading practice. He was headed home when she caught up with him.
"There's something different about you but I don't know what it is." said the girl.
"Who are you and what do you want?" replied Marion.
"Hi, my name is Bea Montgomery!"
"Okay now what do you want???"
"I don't know, I sensed something about you when you were walking through the gymnasium."
"Through what????????"
"The gym dumbo!!" she said with a giggle.
"What do you want from me???"
"Well you're different!!! I want you to tell me."
"No, now leave me alone."
Then Marion started walking away.
"WAIT!! WAIT!!!"
Then Marion turned around, "Okay, I am not normal and you know that and I know that you're not normal either so you can continue to follow me or you can ask me if you can come to my place and talk or vise versa."
"Can we talk at your place?"
"Sure, let's go."
When they arrived at the house they had a snack. The kid sitting by Marion in English came and knocked on the door.
"What are you doing here? How did you know I lived here?" Marion said as soon as he knew the door was open wide enough so that the English kid could hear him.
"I watched you walk to the apartment then enter so I figured you lived here."
"What are you doing, stalking me???"
"No I live three apartments down. Whoa! Is that Bea Montgomery, the cheerleader????"
"Yea she wanted to talk, we have some business we need to work out. What's your name again???"
"Kegan Rice."
"Oh really, now leave!"
"Okay bye but I want to hang out sometime."
Kegan walked away and Marion watched him walk to apartement 36, then he shut the door.
"So what do you want from me?!?!?" Marion said with an attitude.
"I want to know why you're so different! I mean, like I know what it is but I want you to tell me."
"If you know why bother me. Now get out I have somethings to do and our conversation is over."
"WAIT!!!!! If you tell me I will tell you mine and how I know you're different."
"Okay, but you have to swear that you won't tell anybody."
"I swear!!!!"
"Okay, well I have this thing to where I can tell what's going to happen in the future. Then I can send electricity through my body and transfer it to another object."
"Okay, fair now my turn, I can read minds and like reboot the human brain and make the person forget."
Then there was a knock on the door. They both looked at each other with worry in their eyes. Marion cautiously walked over to the door and opened it. It was Kegan
"So I was watching and listening to your guys conversation. "
"Were you sitting outside of the door peering through the window."
"No I was sitting in my apartment and I ran over as soon as I heard."
"Were you using a listening device."
"No, I have powers too. Mine are listening and seeing through walls."
"Hurry come in." Then Kegan walks in and sits on the couch. "How many people have you told about this?"
"Um, three. Wait four."
"Who are they?"
"My mom, dad, sister and my best friend Gloria Schnider." Then he sees the expression on the other two's faces. "What my mom, dad, and sister who is at college to be a doctor all searched around on it. Then I tell my best friend everything."
"Did she go tell anybody?"
"No! Well I don't think so."
"Call her over immediately."
"Okay why?"
"Cause we need to talk."
"OKAY"
Then Kegan called Gloria and told her to meet him in apartment 33 at the apartment complex that he lived in and she came right over.
"What do you know?" said Marion.
"About what. Wait I am so confused." replied Gloria.
Kegan then said eagerly, "About me!"
